Hey!

So good to hear from you! And yes-thank you! I am proud of my patience-and I remember those times...may they never return.

I definitely want off the Geoden. And then the Klonopin. My memory sucks. Who knows if it will ever come back.

I did read that BrassMonket article-I think maybe I have read it before?

Very helpful.

Ok--I am going to try 4 weeks! : )

I will let you know how it goes.

If you have been holding for 6 weeks up until now, instead of going straight to 4 weeks you could hold for 5 weeks for the next one and see how that goes.  If okay, then you could hold for 4 weeks on the following reduction.

* NO LONGER ACTIVE on SA *

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED:  (6 year taper)      0mg Pristiq  on 13th November 2021

Hello!

I am joining over here because I am now ready to begin my Klonopin taper! So grateful for all the help in my other successful tapers.

Current dose is 1.5/day divided into 2 doses of .75 twelve hours apart. I have a compounding pharmacy here. They compounded for me but made a mistake and has the dose at 5ML three times a day. (They will fix this with next bottle).

Some of you may recall I have a pretty severe math disability and so am hoping to have guidance on tapering.

I dropped to 6.8ML two times a day which I think is about 10%? I plan to hold 3-4 weeks. It is just day three and I am having symptoms, manageable so far. Nausea, twitching, weepiness, confusion, anxiety. The anxiety is most pronounced between 4:30-9:30pm (when I take night dose).

So...am I correct in my math? And any ideas about that wave in the day?

Thank you!!

@DMV64 It's good to hear from you. Please note I moved your post from the Information for Making Benzo Liquid thread and placed it here in your intro/update thread since you're asking questions about your taper. This keeps all of your information in one place.

Is this in mL or mg?

What was the previous dose? We'll need that to calculate the percentage.

Hello!

I am back to post and update! I am finally done with the Klonopin taper! Wooo!

I am so happy. TY all! I am going to update my signature. I am currently CT on Vyvanse. I reinstated 20 mg in 2022. Now there is a national shortage, so I have no choice. I am not sure what to do or expect.Today is day three. Nausea, headache, brain fog, tight chest (not sure if related) loss of appetite, irritable, depressed, loss of interest. I was planning to start Lamotrigine but I guess I better wait. Any suggestions to ease this withdrawal? No idea how this one will be for me.

I though try adderral to taper but that too is on shortage.

@Hello20 Hi! Well I am on day 6 here. I am doing better in the morning but very nauseous and periodic palpitations. Tired, but not tired. I am going to try to stick with it and not reinstate if possible. Social anxiety rears it's head. How are you?.

Hey DMV!

That really sucks that you've been forced to CT.

If I were to pick one for a forced CT, Vyvanse is probably the best one.  It will be like Caffeine withdrawal x10.

I wouldn't do anything for at least 3 months - adding drugs will complicate things later.

I reckon it will get a lot better in a few weeks time.

You've tolerated distress before - here it goes again.  I'm just sorry that it was not your choice.

I hope you see the Sun today,

My suggestions are not medical advice, you are in charge of your own medical choices.

A lifetime of being prescribed antidepressants that caused problems (30 years in total). At age 35 flipped to "bipolar," but was not diagnosed for 5 years. Started my journey in Midwest United States. Crossed the Pacific for love and hope; currently living in Australia.   CT Seroquel 25 mg some time in 2013.   Tapered Reboxetine 4 mg Oct 2013 to Sept 2014 = GONE (3 years on Reboxetine).     Tapered Lithium 900 to 475 MG (alternating with the SNRI) Jan 2014 - Nov 2014, tapered Lithium 475 mg Jan 2015 -  Feb 2016 = GONE (10 years  on Lithium).  Many mistakes in dry cutting dosages were made.

@DMV64

you mentioned being day 6, is that from coming off saphris? How'd you go with coming off that?

I'm ok but went through excruciating withdrawal from an antidepressant and not keen to go through that again but will if needed.

Saphris...I had really deep panic. Kind of a terror feeling, social anxiety. I did IOP for awhile and that helped. It is sublingual so it was hard to taper. I had to get a scale, I cannot remember the name but it is listed here in tips for tapering. I measured and weighed and went down very slowly. I held whenever I felt withdrawal symptoms. And eventually I was done! YAY!

I think it took a year. My signature seems messed up. Shocker
