OrangeCounty
Hi and thanks for support on this forum. I just started tapering from 60mg of Cymbalta. I am using the Brassmonkey method, so I started on Monday at 2.5% or 9 beads of RisingPharm generic with 360 beads (30mg of 180 each x2). I hope I have this right. I was on Zoloft for 15 years, and was switched to Cymbalta two years ago for chronic pain issues. I am just tired of feeling numbed out, basically. We'll see how it goes. I have been successful tapering off harder drugs. :) Thanks again for support. It means a lot, and i have learned a lot reading all the forums. Link to comment

OrangeCounty
Hi to all. I’m now over two months and nearly 30% down on Cymbalta. I haven’t noticed any withdrawal symptoms other than maybe an unhappy stomach. I know the hard part hasn’t started yet, and sometimes it’s difficult to go slow. I find myself wanting to cheat a little, but I know that’s asking for trouble. Good luck to all! Link to comment

If you go too fast and withdrawal hits hard and you have to updose and wait to stabilize, your taper ends up taking longer than going at a safe rate. I'm glad you haven't felt too bad, but keep in mind that withdrawal symptoms can be delayed, sometime for months than hit. Gridley Introduction Lexapro 20 mg since 2004.
