So I successfully came off Abilify 15mg, Trileptal 1800mg and Remeron 15mg only to have a relapse and put back on Olanzapine (Zyprexa) 20mg in Oct. 2015,I am not so sure I want to go through another long tapering process right now,, but if I should decide to, I will visit this board more often. Right now no plans in the works, just doing my research on how to increase dopamine. Does anyone know if olanzapine definately blocks all dopamine receptors or just some?  I was researching this but could not find a straight answer. Does anyone know?  I want to increase my dopamine.

med exp since 1985- abilify, latuda, Seroquel, risperadol, zyprexa, Haldol. latuda, saphris, mellaril, thorazine, lithium, tegretol, Depakote, lamictal, Prozac, pamelor, wellbutrin, Ativan, klonipin, etc.

 currently only on remeron: 3/13/14-6/5/14- 15mg

6/20/14 -9.5mg < 0.75-1.5 per week

7/12/14-3.75mg

8/11/14- 0.6mg of Remeron (almost off)

8/16/14--last dose of remeron...now completely drug free....

11/21/14-- 95 DAYS DRUG FREE!!!!

Did you successfully taper off the antipsychotics and did you recover?

Dec 2016 Risperidone 1 mg, Seroquel 25mg, Latuda 40mg 

Jan - Mar 2017 Paliperidone (invega) 6 -9mg, Zoloft, Mirtazapine, Proprananol, Ativan

Mar - Apr 2017 Aripiprazole (abilify) 10 mg

Apr 2017 - July 2017 Olanzapine (zyprexa) 5 mg tapered to 0mg

Oct 2017 - Present Effexor 37.5mg and Prozac 10mg

I do not know anything about increasing dopamine levels. I think they're increased as you get off the drugs.
