hi all quick up date been having muscle twitches on my sholder and thats it

Today i was feeling the whitdrawls of the ssri so i smoked ganja aka haxixe (cannabis) and the high in the biginning was anxieaty,poins and needels on t all over my body and preassurd in thet head and on the joints and my big toe twitched and now the high is almost over but i feel very nice  , can some one explain and by the way whats the risk of using it on the taper

You really need to be patient and learn and use non drug techniques to get through the withdrawal symptoms.

 

Thinking that there is a quick fix for your withdrawal symptoms is a bad attitude to have.    There will most likely be times when you experience discomfort during your tapering.

 

I've been tapering slowly and sometimes experience increased irritability after I make a reduction.  I just say to myself, oh that's right I made a reduction last week so it's probably because of that.   Over the last couple of months I've noticed increased ear pressure but I know it is probably from a withdrawal symptoms and I haven't even considered updosing, but I did hold for longer.

btw i have been having left side abdominal pain but realy on the left on the edge feelis like preasure like a   muscle pain and its triggered sometimes and then it leaves me for weeks

You are right i just gave it a try i have to go back on my path i havent be taking the suplements or meditating becose i started my formation in school and i just forget , the suplements i dont have funds to buy them right now

And i have to fix me sleep i go to bed realy late 4 am normaly and my life right now is education and gaming i didnt go to  the gym for like 2 weeks and its messing me up + the symptoms of the mouth of taper where on and didnt help

Are you gaming late at night? My son does the same and it really affects him negatively. The link between gaming and anxiety is pretty scary. The gym is much better for your health 🏃🏻‍♀️

Hey Miguel,

In answer to your first question......what's the risk of using it while on the taper?  Well it's psychoactive.  And probably not the best idea right now. 

Which it looks like you figured out.......

The sleep IS important.  As is doing your best to keep a fairly regular schedule.

Some great thoughts and suggestions above from both ChessieCat and LRH.  And your own insights as well.

It's possible that you may have a wee bit of instability now....... post your cannabis smoking.  Anything different from your norm of what occurs after you make a taper  might be explained by this in the next little while.

So........I think I just wanted to say to hang tight.  Work on some of those nondrug coping techniques, as well as working on a daily, more healthy routine, sleep included.  Give it your best try.

Possibly, but nobody knows for certain.  How long?  As long as it takes.  Again, nobody knows.

 

Continually asking questions to which there is no answer will frustrate and stress you.  This is how things are at this time.  It is important to learn to "sit with" you symptoms, whatever the cause, and wait it out.  Doing that in a calm way and distracting yourself instead of focusing on them is going to make the time seem to go more quickly.  Acceptance

i have been having shacking speels on my hands and tension on my neck and feeling like my muscles are responding slowly  i did have a cold a few days ago

hi, I have been whit no supplements for 1 mouth and Jesus do they make a difference I had to buy an omega 3 because I was literally having muscle twitches in the corner of my eyes and muscles squeezing on my chest and shoulders and felt cold out of nowhere and also had those impeding doom feelings ... never thought omega 3s make such a difference 

btw does standard omega 3s help or do they have to be high EPA  

this one I bought got like 685 EPA and 450 DHA 

the other one that I took that was more expensive was 990 EPA and 660 DHA 

 

this mouth was really hard on me and I realized how much the supplements helped but didn't have money things are kinda hard in terms of money

These all sound like withdrawal symptoms. If I were you, I'd stop tapering for a good while and let your nervous system settle down.

 

If you ingest a lot of caffeine and nicotine, you may want to cut down on those.

You can continue tapering with homemade liquid or you can use the prescribed liquid at any time. I would cross over by taking part of the dose in homemade liquid and part in prescribed liquid for a week, then all in prescribed liquid.

I have noticed that my sensitivity to coffee is up again cant even drink a cup and my nicotine is very low and I have lowered it now to 1mg per ml the last drop was 4 days ago from 7.75 to 7.65 in your opinion how long will i need to hold

This is a question which we can't answer.  Every situation is individual.  You need to listen to your own body.  We have some members here who hold for 2 weeks after their symptoms have eased before they reduce again.  Remember it's not a race and we need to be patient.  The idea is to get off the drug with minimal withdrawal symptoms.  It is better to hold for longer than to try and reduce too quickly.

 

It is very easy to become impatient.  It happened to me just last week.  I had planned to hold for 4 weeks but got to 3 weeks and decided to reduce to 10mg.  I took 10mg and about 30 minutes later I went back and took the extra 1mg.  I decided that in the scheme of things it wasn't worth the risk of trying to reduce a week earlier.

but btw is it possible that the withdrawals are making hormonal changes? because my skin is super pily my libido is over the roof my erection is almost painful better than before didn't have erections now its all the time ... thx godi didn't get Post ssri sexual dysfunction  but I have seen that my testosterone is rising fast at lower the dosage the bigger the changes in testosterone .

but its the opposite it's HIgh testosterone and progesterone my rage is over the roof then I have a crash and go back up 

so far in the gym, I am getting stronger and stronger not like 1 kg jumps but 13 kilos or more in weight 

its like I am on steroids 

it's not that bad but kinda annoying sometimes I am so full of rage but I seem that now the real changes start because the mental side is going low but the body is changing a lot hormonal wise cardiovascular wise

I understand 

lost a friend today because he told me that I have changed a lot 

it kinda makes sense because of the ssri

it has been 9 days since the last drop and I am starting to see a decline in my well being mental as well as physical 

back on that windows and waves train, I am in a wave right now 

I was really bad off after I cam

 from  the gym, I was feeling really bad but  was able to push me up and will fight my regiment on meditation and sleep  because I have been slacking off in journaling and really need to put my stuff together this decline was expected will not hold for some time 

hopefully, in this next weeks, it gets better

today I was feeling better but totally forgot to take the medication at the right time ... when I went to see the time Jesus 9:25 pm,,, I wanna take it in the morning but I am sleeping at that time 

I have been working out quite good and have noticed that my brain is indeed sensitive I feel a crash after exercise 

that causes elevated depression and elevated suicidal thought  but it starts to go down after a while 

and I accidentally wrongly preloaded my syringe whit 7.64 instead of 7.65,,, but well a single day won't cause problems 

did have some IBS like symptoms after 1 hour of taking the medication don't know if it registers the change that fast but hopes not 

 

Btw Atostrata i am quitting vaping I am at a low dose of 1.5 mg nic per ml and I realize that I can go to day 3 but then I just get this horrible depression 

shude I just keep vaping while I am tapering escitalopram or shude I stop vaping 

since nicotine is a Nero-active drug maybe it will cause more neurological stress by trying to quit 

been 10 days since the last drop in your opinion 1 and a half mouths shude be enough for it to settle
