You may get odd symptoms from taking your dose irregularly. Please be careful to take it at the same time each day.

It looks like you had a blip after the dose reduction, but closer to baseline now?

Please reorganize your signature to be in chronological order so we can clearly see what you're taking now.

Today makes one week at 35mg.  If the withdrawal symptoms do not get any worse I am def ok.  The most bothersome is how my brain is in slow motion.. my thoughts, reactions, decision making.

I do wake up a few times a night and my mind tries to go into obsessing over my worse fears but I remind myself that it’s part of the withdrawals and distract myself with tv.

Keeping an eye on my purpose for getting off and it’s bc I have put on so much weight it’s made me type 2 diabetic and my insulin resistance is worse and maybe I won’t have chronic fatigue anymore.

How much sleep do you get? You're waking occasionally?

I don't see any notes about restless legs, has that gone away?

How do you feel after taking ropinorol?

My restless legs is much better since lowering imipramine but I’m still taking the ropinirole, too.  Hopefully I won’t need it once I’m completely off the imipramine.

Wake every 2 1/5 - 3 hours.  Getting about 6 hours total a night.

Since I can’t seem to tolerate the liquid form of imipramine I will have to taper larger percentages here on out.  Are withdrawals easier once we get lower in dosage?

This is not too bad for withdrawal.

How do you not tolerate it? You didn't put any notes about imipramine in your daily notes. I don't see any sign of an adverse reaction to a dose.

No, as dosage gets lower, it becomes even more important to taper by very small amounts. If you insist on making larger reductions, you will be making your own problems.

I mentioned in earlier posts that the liquid hits really hard, makes my restless legs crazy, gives me bad anxiety.

The imipramine seems to make my insomnia worse but yet still makes me sleepy so I take it during one of my awake periods during the night/early morning.

Please continue to post daily notes, including ALL your drugs and how you feel before and after each dose.

We have already determined that your restless legs are a sign of activation from too much imipramine, possibly in combination with too much ropinirol, which may have been unnecessary. It's not intolerance to the liquid.

Do you usually take imipramine at 3 a.m.?

What happens after you take ropinirol?

Did "restless legs" occur?

I will start paying closer attention with how I feel after I take ropinirole.

When I take both meds together before bedtime  I have trouble falling asleep or I’ll fall asleep and wake up a shortly after and struggle to fall back to sleep.  When I take just the ropinirole before bed I sleep better.

Starting caffeine again bc I’m tired of being exhausted.  it was great for about a week..Bad move!  Stopping it now.

I changed ropinirole and imipramine time, slept as much as usual but was up for the day by 7:15-7:30.. will stick to this time schedule.

More anxious this week but I do remember that the second week after a taper is the worse.  I’ll be ok.

You take ropinirol any time you want?

If you're going to drink alcohol and take your drugs inconsistently, there is no reason for you to continue daily notes. You are destabilizing yourself. We cannot interpret your symptom pattern.

We strongly suggest people who are tapering avoid alcohol, and any other mood altering drugs or supplements, etc.  Our systems tend to be very sensitive to things.  I would suggest waiting a while for the destabilization caused by the alcohol to settle down before considering another reduction.  We suggest people have minimal symptoms and waves for a couple of weeks before doing a reduction.

We're not going to be able to help you while you're drinking, sorry.

For restless legs, magnesium supplements may help

Actually, I do take an extra ropinirole when I need it and my doc is ok with it.  My restless legs occasionally affect me during the day during a taper.  Once withdrawals are over I have no need to take the extra ropinirole.

I had forgotten about how alcohol made me feel 6 months ago and made a mistake.

Im sorry, when am I taking my drugs inconsistently?

By not keeping to a schedule with the ropinirole.

Please start using natural means for the restless legs -- magnesium, drink lots of water, and stretch your leg muscles with exercises. We cannot work with you if you take random drugs, even if your doctor is okay with it.

I came here for help to get off of an antidepressant, no where did I say I wanted help getting off of my medication for restless legs and  my ropinirole is not a random drug.  I have actually mentioned a couple of times that I am not ready to even think about getting off of ropinirole at this point especially not until I am finished tapering my imipramine.

I have also said a few times in here that I can’t tolerate magnesium since I started the imipramine taper.

If I am having bad anxiety while tapering imipramine and the restless legs is about to push me into more than I feel that I can stand I have no problem taking ropinirole.  I’ve had to do it two or three other times while tapering imipramine and it helps.  Once the taper settles down I don’t need the extra ropinirole.

I'm sorry, we cannot interpret your symptom pattern unless you keep ALL your drugs on a consistent schedule, no matter which drug you want to taper.

Without accurate dosing and symptom pattern information, we're not going to be able to help you with peer support here. You might try a Facebook group.

My symptom pattern is obvious when you look back.  During the second week of every taper my restless legs is much worse, unusually happening during the day for a couple of days and then everything smooths out.

Sorry, absolutely cannot deal with those random doses of ropinirol.

Do you insist on taking them? If so, let's not waste both of our time any more.

This is just about to make me have a panic attack.  I need to be able to look over the notes I have made in here from all of the hard work I have put in during my previous successful tapers and the thought of losing them has made me have to leave grocery shopping and come home.. yes, I agree to work really hard at not taking ropinirole during a horrific day of restless legs during my second week of tapering

Right at two and a half weeks with this last taper and I made it.  Feeling much better, Phew!  I think I was also trying to adjust to the change in dose of Ozempic which started around the same time as the imipramine taper.

Also cannot deal with the confounding that might be added by changing doses of Ozempic.

So, you are now saying that I am not to follow the instructions of my Endocrinologist that is treating me for insulin resistance and type two diabetes with Ozempic?
