Just saying hello. If you are from the LYRICA survivors group, you know my name is Suzanne PK.  But on this site I go by Snooze.  L ruined my life for four years before I learned how to taper properly.  I successfully tapered from 600 mg off about 18 months ago.  I’m happy to answer any tapering questions, as I’ve also tapered off of clonazepam as well. Many years ago ( about 25 I was on an early anti-depressant, Prozac, for six months .  However, back then there was no tapering…I just dropped it and wondered why I felt strange afterwards.  But being 24 helped and youth and health made my adjustment easier than it would have been had I tried that at my current age (53).  I currently have Aplastic Anemia, which is terminal in my case.  I am receiving compassionate care ( palliative ) now, but am still mentally strong and have a positive outlook on my situation because I choose to put others first in life.  I would like to make myself available to help with any questions from anyone currently tapering or curious about stopping a psychiatric drug.  As I said in the LYRICA group…Im here to help until Im no longer here at all !  

 

I invite any of my old friends to say hello and look forward to making new ones from this group.  If I can help anyone in any way, Im happy to do so !  You can beat these drugs and recover!  Promise !
