Wildflower0214
Bad wave starting about 2 weeks ago about guilt about everything. I was feeling guilty for driving 3 miles over speed limit and actually had the thought to go turn myself into police for it. Felt guilty about drinking free water at McDonalds. All these thoughts triggered tight chest and feeling of needing to vomit. Then had cavity filled. Reaction to numbing agent. No sleep that night. Then became constipated from reaction Had to take laxative. Reaction, thoughts worse, burning skin etc. Accidentally took one too many of my Benzo doses cause I couldn't remember if I had taken the dose or not. Next day, AWFUL depression. Tried magnesium, it's 6am, no sleep, crawly legs, anxiety, and constipated again. But can't take a laxative. I have no idea what to do. 2005-Zoloft bad reaction.....2006-Lexepro......2012-Upped Lexepro.......2013-Upped Lexepro......2/2014- Attempted Taper Lexepro...2/2014- Updosed Lexepro.......3/2014-Ativan.....5/2014- CT switch from Lexpro to Effexor..... 5/2014-7/2014-Tapered Ativan from 1mg to .25mg.....6/2014-Bad reaction to Effexor........7/2014- Rapid taper Effexor every other day......7/5/2014- Off Effexor.......7/2014-12/2014 - Ativan .25mg.......12/25/2014 -Taper Ativan by 4% due to paradoxical reaction .24mg...11/18/2015-Taper Ativan 1% CURRENTLY ON: .2376mg Ativan taken in 6 .0396mg doses. Wildflower0214
I literally do not know how people get through this. I think if I lived in a vacuum where i never needed another med for about three years, I think I would be fine. But I don't live there, and I have yet to find someone who has the level of sensitivity that I have who is dealing with this. I feel like a sitting duck, waiting for something else to happen. It's one damn thing after another. This isn't a wave it's just some awful, hideous place I reside. There is no predictable pattern. Just crappy, some level of it. 2005-Zoloft bad reaction.....2006-Lexepro......2012-Upped Lexepro.......2013-Upped Lexepro......2/2014- Attempted Taper Lexepro...2/2014- Updosed Lexepro.......3/2014-Ativan.....5/2014- CT switch from Lexpro to Effexor..... 5/2014-7/2014-Tapered Ativan from 1mg to .25mg.....6/2014-Bad reaction to Effexor........7/2014- Rapid taper Effexor every other day......7/5/2014- Off Effexor.......7/2014-12/2014 - Ativan .25mg.......12/25/2014 -Taper Ativan by 4% due to paradoxical reaction .24mg...11/18/2015-Taper Ativan 1% CURRENTLY ON: .2376mg Ativan taken in 6 .0396mg doses. Wildflower0214
In all fairness, I have to note some improvements I am showering daily, I trhink it's because I'm cold now and it feels good, but I wasn't for a while. I guess the reason doesn't matter. I'm doing it. I'm also brushing my teeth again 2x a day, partly out of fear of having to go back to dentist, but again reasoning doesn't matter. I'm doing it. I can walk the dog now a little farther, I try to do this two times a day. I can do about 5-7 minutes. About a month ago my heart was racing from just walking to let him potty. I've added another food to my 14, acorn squash. I still remain sensitive to many many things. I have been able to stay alone, granted my mom keeps her phone on, but I have done it for 2-3 hours occasionally. I can tolerate noise, sound, and light better. My dad was here in the middle of October and he had the tv on and banging in the kitchen and I just wanted to throw the TV off the balcony. I can watch tv for brief periods of time, it seems the content doesn't bother me quite as much. For a while, everything scared me. It depends on the day what I can deal with I can use regular toothpaste and listerine again, and I can now shave my legs with shaving gel. I have cleaned my room, and picked up after myself more. I don't do it often, but more than I used to. I have had brief moments or hours where I nearly enjoy something. The derealization seems to have faded. There was a period where I was able to drive and take rides to distract myself. This was in Oct or Nov. I can still drive, but the relief it brought didn't last long. Maybe it will come back. Also, I went through a period where I had lost twenty pounds and was totally nauseated by food. But my family and friends jumped all over me until I forced myself to eat more. I've gained back maybe 7 pounds and eating is not difficult anymore. I am still suffering, I belive if this latest GI situation would improve and I could stop having to take OTC meds, I would improve. Hopefully, it corrects. It has been a problem since reaction to numbing agent, and was an issue before but my diet was improved, and it helped. Now, I believe it is from a reaction to the med. 2005-Zoloft bad reaction.....2006-Lexepro......2012-Upped Lexepro.......2013-Upped Lexepro......2/2014- Attempted Taper Lexepro...2/2014- Updosed Lexepro.......3/2014-Ativan.....5/2014- CT switch from Lexpro to Effexor..... 5/2014-7/2014-Tapered Ativan from 1mg to .25mg.....6/2014-Bad reaction to Effexor........7/2014- Rapid taper Effexor every other day......7/5/2014- Off Effexor.......7/2014-12/2014 - Ativan .25mg.......12/25/2014 -Taper Ativan by 4% due to paradoxical reaction .24mg...11/18/2015-Taper Ativan 1% CURRENTLY ON: .2376mg Ativan taken in 6 .0396mg doses. LoveandLight
I'm glad to hear about the improvements xx 2000 - sertraline for job anxiety low confidence (17 years old) ..which turned the next 16 years into nightmare! On/off sertraline severe withdrawals every time. 2014 - felt better as reduced dose of sertraline no more inner restlessness. Doctor rushed off again. Hit severe withdrawal. Lost the little I had in life. Couldn't get stable again on 12.5mg. Was switched to prozac. Had severe reaction to prozac..came off in November 2015 at 6mg as felt more confused and damaged on it..Even more withdrawal ..rage, depression, dyphoria, near constant suicidal ideation, self harm impulses, doom, concrete block in head, unable to do much of anything with this feeling in head..went back on 6mg of sertraline to see if would alleviate anything. It didn't..reduced from December to June 2016 came off at 2.5mg sertraline as was hospitalised for the severe rage, suicidal impulses, and put on 50mg lofepramine which in 2nd week reduced all symptoms but gave insomnia which still have..psych stopped lofepramine cold turkey..no increased withdrawal symptoms new symptoms from lofepramine except persistant insomnia which has as side effect. Taking Ativan for 8 months for the severe rage self harm impulses 1-3 times a week (mostly 2 times a week) at .5mg. Two months (I'm unsure exactly when the interdose started to happen) ago interdose withdrawal seemed to happen..2 days I think after the Ativan. Nightmare that could have been avoided! luv2knit
I don't have the floaty feeling (or don't recognize as such), but I went to bed sick as a dog... Wildflower0214
I don't have the floaty feeling (or don't recognize as such), but I went to bed sick as a dog... Idk when I have been this sick to my stomach. Can't even take ginger--I react to it and everything else gets worse. Somehow, though, I did get some sleep... off and on. Why is nausea so much worse at this point?! Glad you slept. I got no sleep. Up all night. The nausea... ? I have no idea. Wildflower0214
Your welcome JD. BUT also keep in mind that the withdrawal brings with it a negative outlook, it may not necessarily be your own patterns.. Yes, you are correct. I just came out of no sleep at all two nights out of the last three. luv2knit
Ugh... It's time for a break, JDM. Praying you get one! Zoloft 100 mg. daily for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome since Oct. 1994 / Synthroid 88 mcg. daily / Supplements: Neptune Krill Oil-1,000 mg. twice daily/Astaxanthin 10 mg. twice daily/Ubiquinol 100 mg. twice daily (These 3 have allowed me to discontinue (approved by doctor) bp meds I was on. Calcium Citrate 500 mg. daily/Vitamin D3 2,400 iu daily/K2 (MK7) 100 mcg daily (osteopenia and fam. hist. of severe osteoporosis). Stress B Complex (1/2 dose)/Quercetin (for allergies/asthma)/Magnesium (400 mg. oral glycinate and about 50 mg. magnesium chloride spray oil a day, divided throughout day). Tapered Zoloft about 6 wks. Totally off since the end of July (25-29, 2014). 3 wks. vertigo at end of taper, then 3-4 wks. OK, followed by withdrawal symptoms increasing in severity (nausea, gastric disturbances, loss of appetite, insomnia, restlessness, jitters, anxiety, agitation--jumping out of my skin--possible akathisia?) Seem to have paradoxical reactions to everything new, even Vitamin C. Severity of akathisia comes and goes, but is constant to some degree. Hard to leave house, and cannot be home alone.
