I didn’t answer to you about  the splitting dose I did. I’m sorry to have started this.

 

I had a tough week with reactions right after I would take my doses.  I started splitting the night dose in 2 and taking them 2 hours apart.  I started taking them 3 and then 4 hours apart and created a problem, as it was destabilizing already. I started measuring all of the doses I take in the day and taking them in 6 hours intervals.

I was concerned about merging the doses again and created a hardship I didn’t need to.  Each dose weights 0,009 g and it’s much harder to measure such a small weight on the scales. Taking double that ammount at once now concerns me as I’ve been very sensitive to this drug.

Using a Scale to Weigh and Measure Doses

 

You might have your wife, or someone else, do this for you.  So far, you have 2 scales, so surely one of them is functioning properly.

It’s been a while since I posted an update.

 

-I started zyprexa a week ago. I know I could find stability as I managed to keep a stable dose of lamictal, but  my failure to do so made it hard for anyone else to believe on what  I was saying. I resisted a lot for 10 days,  not only for hating the idea of taking antipsychotics but specially because I was sure I would have a very bad instant reaction to it.   The pressure from friends and family became too much and I gave in. 
I didn’t have any reaction to it, didn’t feel much to be honest. I feel calmer and my mind is a bit more organized, which I suppose is expected from a major tranquilizer like olanzapine. 
I’m going now to organize my method to dose lamotrigine correctly and in a practical way.  Done that I’ll be able to quit this new drug.

 

I was the one who experienced these last six months on my skin , I know  lamotrigine caused me to find myself on this position. Bad reactions and withdrawals made me experience symptoms I hadn’t experienced in 42 years.
