my guess is a cold turkey might have did more disruption than the reinstatement. I think you're in the same boat is most of us

that cold turkey or that slow tapered you're going to have to go through the withdrawals and we got to be patient with that. It's natural to look back and think about what we did wrong or what happened but it doesn't help us out. Are you still working out. And are you also taking supplements and what kind

No m not working out because there was time when I felt like m gonna faint while just Running a few distance....This NVR happened prior to reinstatement, there's a guy who was on this forum, his name is Christian....He reinstated late had a adverse effect now suffering from dementia.....He reinstated at a low dose, I got reinstated double my dose 😢

I was reading some of your earlier post that you were actually getting windows so if you're getting Windows you're getting some type of healing and that's very positive. Don't trip out man. A part of this whole thing is self-discovery so we're going to have to do that.

I was on I was on Zyprexa 10mg for many months and then my doctor switch me over to Seroquel 200 or 300 mg per night without tapering me off of the Zyprexa . I doused my brain for three weeks with 2 or 300 mg of Seroquel which is way too high and should have been prescribed 25 mg or 50 mg for insomnia and I cold turkey for three weeks until withdrawals hit and then I reinstated 100 mg. Sometimes I wonder if the reinstatement really helped. Right now I'm still on 50 mg of Seroquel and 50 mg of Zoloft and I still have pretty rough days it's only been about 2 months hang in there buddy.

try walking for half an hour to an hour if you can it's not as exerting as running it doesn't wear you out as much and won't put stress on you for your withdraws. Walking around outside help stimulate your mind to focus on other things. Take it easy at first and then work your way up

I was getting window everyday prior to reinstatement.... Everything was going fine then I hit s wave and I decided to see my psy... From there all changed, I have realised it now....I was wondering why m getting Pssd Symptoms and cognitive issues after 6 months....Now I know it's because of that reinstatement

Hi anubhuv,

I'm so sorry you are struggling from the one dose reinstatement. I thought you mentioned earlier the sxs from the reaction were gone. How long again did you reinstate? What sxs do you still have ?

Anyway, I want you to know you will heal from this. I had a severe reaction to updose and I continued taking the drug for 2 more yrs since then even I got reaction continuously. I'm now 10 months off, the reaction sxs slowly leaving or lessioning. You took only one dose, it will heal much faster.

Hi Anubhav,

I just moved this post back here to your main introduction.  One introduction per member is the rule.

..........and it looks like you have gotten some input here already.

I agree, that at this point........you are most likely suffering withdrawal symptoms from your CT.  You were on the 10 mg. dose for just one day in late May.  And although you did seem to have some immediate reaction to the high dose reinstatement..........it's been two months now.  If I were you I would just consider it pretty average withdrawal........more related to your CT back in December.  I really don't think you caused any irreversible problems with your one day of remedication in late May.

Most likely.........  neuro emotions as well as your recent break up that is magnifying your concerns.  So sorry about that.

I'm not surprised ^.  Are you having some symptom free periods as well?

Maybe reading about some of the common symptoms and patterns of healing we see will help.

I'll leave you with a couple links.

Hey......no bother.  Our stories all differ a little bit.

We just like to tidy up and keep each member to one intro/journal page.  Many have done what you did.........and hopefully you'll get a few more responses soon......right here at your home base.......so to speak.

Read some of the success stories and focus on the positive.

Situational stuff can still throw me.  I don't think yours will be a horror story.

It just takes time and patience.

I switched medications and re medicated for years(not knowing what I know now).

And am glad I finally got free of them.

You might also visit the symptoms and self care section.  Especially take a look at some of the top pinned topics.  Now is a good time to collect some tools to help you manage going forward.

You're doing fine.

Hey, here's something hopeful Anubhav.

Someone else asking about an adverse reaction to medication:  https://www.survivingantidepressants.org/topic/17909-are-we-there-yet-how-long-is-withdrawal-going-to-take/?do=findComment&comment=366686

Take a look at that post and the reply.

I'm hopeful that your healing will progress soon.  Withdrawal symptoms after a CT from Lexapro.......... often is ongoing this many months out.

Wishing you healing progress.

I hope your feeling better today.Try to focus on healing because you will.these meds cause a imbalance that takes time to heal.I go thrue this too trying to figure out what happened.if we did have that precise answer of what messed us up the cold turkey or reinstatement we will still have go thrue it.you will get better.the power of belief can benefit us or go against us.Believe in your recovery.

You may have had the same frustration if you wouldn't have reinstated and are having the symptoms from the Cold turkey.you would be wishing you reinstated.it could go either way depending on how you look at.Healing is the next step.

M bloody sure Adverse reaction caused more harm.....I was able to study atleast,Now it's just really difficult task....I do get windows TBH but they aren't as good as they used to be before reinstatement....Now windows are like I feel more with myself, more positivity about my withdrawal, feel like it's gonna end but they only last for 1 hour or so :(

Its good the reinstatement was so short.I was chatting with Elyssa143 yesterday  she may have had issues with reinstatement also you might want to read her post yesterday of us talking together it's in her introductions. It's good you're getting those windows where you feel like yourself. I had bigger Windows 8 days being the longest in mine shortened up also they're just more frequent.
