Moderator Emeritus Carmie Posted December 4, 2018 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted December 4, 2018 Hi QA, I’m just dropping in briefly as I’m struggling to think due to my illness ( CFS ) but I think you need to hold for a while. You have made so many changes. Your poor brain is all over the place. I’ll read your thread properly when I can think again. You were saying how easy it was to get off Seroquel n telling me to jump off 7.5mgs. I’m afraid it’s not that easy. I think you can see that now. I’ll see what the other mods advise. Hang in there. We will get there in the end. But I think you can see why it’s not easy for me to get off the last 7.5mgs. You’ve taken too many risks. I’m really sorry you are going through this, it’s extremely hard. Sending hugs🤗🤗 Been on APs, benzos, ADs and opiates, all for chronic pain. Had severe Akathisia in the past that made me suicidal. Moderator Emeritus Carmie Posted February 4, 2019 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted February 4, 2019 Hi QA, Thanks for your pm. I’m glad you’ve been doing well. Please do not jump from 100mg of Quetiapine IR to 75mg. It’s way too high a percentage. I know you’ve gotten away with doing big jumps in the past, but the lower the meds get the more problems you may have. Maybe cut the tablet in half n go down by 12.5mg. It’s still higher than 10% but it’s much better than going down by 25mg. I used to split the tablets in half and then in quarters. I knew nothing about tapering back then, or water titrating. Water titrating is great because you can get the exact dosages you need. Take care💚 Been on APs, benzos, ADs and opiates, all for chronic pain. Had severe Akathisia in the past that made me suicidal.
