Hey @RusTW sorry your going into a wave. How are u feeling now?

HI Elyssa I'm doing ok doing my daily walk now. Got up this morning feeling a little bit out of sorts but it's getting better. I feel like I'm in a reconstruction phase now dismantling old beliefs and building up on new ones more positive. Having a routine and responsibilities has been key to anything positive that's happened to me so far during this. Having a job where I'm a manager and have to force myself to stay on point has been a lifesaver. It hasn't been easy going to work with the extreme nausea and anxiety over the past few months and the health anxiety and depression last year. I look back and feel proud of that accomplishment. I know when I feel sick and nauseated I get an impulse to freak out but I don't let myself. It's a racy anxiety that feels uncontrollable. I just stay busy. I had a wonderful doctor in my Twenties that said something to me when I couldn't understand things and it stuck with me he said instead of obsessing on negative things obsess on positive things and you'll reach all your goals. And it's true you can either obsess on negative things or positive things you still have that choice. Back then I was trying to analyze everything that happened to me I had to come to grips with I'll never understand my own mind fully and why it works the way it does. the mind is infinite with so many possibilities you'll never be able to figure that out so I just gave up on that and moved on. Even if we can figure out the equation of what's happened to us now it's not going to change anything by knowing that. If somebody said I went through the same thing with the same amount of milligrams the same amount of time on it wouldn't be the same for us because we're all different it would just give you a gauge of expectancy that you might be disappointed from anyways if you don't reach that time line. There are so many variables for each of us that can't be predicted.

HI Rabe I was thinking about you last night I was watching some good videos on YouTube about the gut-brain connection if you get a chance you should really try to watch a few of those videos. I hope your GI problems are getting better. Have a nice evening

I've just come out of a good 5-day window and in the last few days I got hit by a bad wave the wave is different this time starting out with a headache brain fog anxiety ringing ears and very minimal nausea with anxiety being the worst of the symptoms. I'm almost 3 months out from my cold turkey and reinstatement and so far I've had an 11-day window and just as 5-day window. This wave is very intense. What I'm wondering is if I've had two good Windows like this is that a significant sign of healing or is that a common thing.

I'm asking because I'm getting the kind of anxiety that's racing my Heads Burning I can't think. It started with a really bad headache a few days ago at the beginning of this wave. And it's sticking around all day

HI Rus.  I'm sorry you are in a bad wave.  The anxiety has been my worst symptom.  Well, maybe Akathisia is the worst, but that causes terrible anxiety, too.  Anxiety has been my most common symptom for sure.  Headache, brain fog, ringing in the ears -- had them all!  Al I can suggest is a breathing exercise and a magnesium bath.

Thanks Rosetta this is a horrible wave I haven't had anxiety this bad yet with a raging headache brain fog and ringing ears it feels like I have a hangover after drinking it's strange because it came on with a headache to start with at the beginning of this wave the headache just persisted more and more and then the anxiety started the weird thing is and nausea is not there not yet at least thanks for checking up on me

Try to think about what you have eaten.  It's a good idea to keep a food journal and try to narrow down your diet to things that don't seem to make you feel worse.  It's not easy to do, but some people find that keeping certain things off the table will make the waves less severe.  Other people don't have much luck with that.  It's worth a shot especially if one is in a window and can keep the journal.

I know.  I have those headaches, too.  No otc helps. It's not a good idea to take anything stronger.  You can get in a hot shower and let the water help relax the muscles.

Hi Rus,  Im so sorry.  Yes the anxiety gets so so awful...get some periods of relief but it is a companion I could do without.  It is not fun and my heart is with you!

I have also had the horrible headaches...the burning, full hot head and sometimes just a very very awful migraine like headache.  Also I have the ringing in my ears nearly all the time and yes the brain fog.  I also get kind of dizzy and funny vision and so much more.

It is scary, Rus.  But you are not alone...I would try the bath or shower.  loo I have put a heating pad on my neck...the back, and that has help my headache I think because it helps to relax the muscles but not sure.  I have not taken anything for the headaches cause sometimes it makes them worse for me or makes me feel worse.  Eventually they do pass.

Sometimes a walk helps my anxiety...but if I overdo it sometimes rebounds and gets worse.  Have you done a lot during the window you had?  That is my tendency...I feel better and then I am out exercising and lifting weights and running errands etc...did that yesterday and today felt worse.

Thinking about you LOTS!!  Take care!!!💜

The downfall is if I don't take it I get anxiety depression and DP what was your experience taking hormones

Hi Rabe I do have the same issue while I exercise during my windows I do quite a bit probably too much. That's mostly what I do to keep my mind occupied so on the days I don't do it I feel extremely whipped. If I don't exercise walk or go to the gym my down time is really bad I have anxiety and depressive thoughts. But then if I exercise too much and say I don't sleep one night out of the week I get really bad. I think that's what's happened to me now with the Cog fog in my head and the anxiety is that during my window I was doing too much and I don't feel like I was getting a good sleep so I think it built up. I hope this head thing goes away the headache and anxiety.

I'm sorry you are feeling so bad.  I used to get anxiety much more often and more intensely that I do now.  It was always there for a while.  Now, I felt more irritable and depressed during this current muscle tension bout.

Sorry...I missed your posts...yes I do take the Premarin...sometimes it seems to help the anxiety...occasionally not.  All things seem to fluctuate.

Im sorry you are having the anxiety and all.  I do as you...feel better and then do too much.  I am trying to rein that in a bit and remember that it sees to affect me adversely sometimes.

The brain fog and headaches and OCD and all are so challenging as well....but you are so strong and positive, you will get through this...I know it!!!

it's like a stiffness in my neck and upper back muscles and tendons. It never really goes away either. Last year around my sternum area and in my back also I had really bad aching pains the only thing everybody came up with all my doctors was it was costochondritis that's inflammation of the tendons that connect your sternum and the tendons that connect your back to your spine.

Hi, RusTW. Do you spend a lot of time hunched over the computer? It sounds to me like you need to do some stretching. If I were you, I'd ask my doctor for a referral to physical therapy.

I really thought something was wrong with my heart or with my lungs in my back. I had CT scans VQ scans chest x-rays back x-rays I probably got the record for most Imaging and in our town here it did they just boiled it down to the costochondritis. It just feels like I have inflammation problems that move around

in the last year-and-a-half I've had 3 endoscopies 2 laryngoscopy 1 colonoscopy one heart angiogram about a million visits to the ER and my GP. I think that the Cipro really broke my body down in many ways my immunity my nervous system and then everything went haywire on top of that all the psych drugs to add to the mental thing and physical symptoms.

Were all these tests for the neck, upper back, and chest pain? It could be that the drug mishaps made your nervous system hypersensitive to a lot of things, including bad postural habits that would otherwise cause only mild aches.

Strongly advise trying physical therapy and learning gentle stretching exercises and other types of exercise to counter muscle pains. I had to do this myself, it's very common.

HI Alto last year and the beginning of this year I did Physical Therapy holistic physical therapy with acupuncture. After taking Cipro for a month last year my body broke down and I developed the systemic yeast infection. This lasted for months. During this time I developed all kinds of physical symptoms I believe now it was from the Candida. I developed allergies to everything all senses and then on top of that they gave me the psych meds so I believe that this candida caused a inflammation problem in my body during candida die off.   I never knew that an antibiotic could mess with your mind and your body that bad until I read the Black Box warning . Doctors are clueless about Candida And antibiotics

Well, physical therapy does not require that you ingest anything. It sounds like it could do you some good. Alternatives: chiropractic or osteopathic manual therapy (very hard to find). A good chiro would give you exercises to do.

I thinking back I still can't believe that I cold turkey  Ativan after my bad reaction from Cipro. I know for sure my system was already crashed. I wonder what these antibiotics are doing 2 people going through psych-med withdraws if they have to use them for infections or whatever. They should be illegal to prescribe. I forgot to mention one of the side effects is damaged connective tissue. Torn tendons inflammation of connective tissue months to years after stopping the medication and that includes CNS damage also
