Hey I am girl from Denmark. I am on my way of Adjuvanz (aka Vyvanse - see this post) and risperidon risperidone . I feel its quite hard. Specially the risperidon has a lot of withdrawal symptoms such as tiredness, mood swings, strange feelings at my skin and whole system. I started at 0,75 mg and now i am 0,40. I tried to stop for two days ago, but to day it has been totally awfull. I wish there was a guideline, which could show me for how long the withdrawal symptoms would last. Adjuvanz is now 70 mg. Starting with 120 mg. Its not so hard yet, but I think it will be harder, when I get down to 50 mg and below. I am glad, that I found this forum and hope to get helping advice and maybe being able to help others.

Hi Wonderwoman (great name, by the way!).  Welcome to SA!

You mention Adjuvanz, which I have not heard of, and couldn't find in Google.   Does it have another name we might know it by?  Risperidone we do know - we have a topic about it here:  Tips for tapering off Risperdal (risperidone).

Please can you create a signature containing a summary of your med history, including all drugs, doses and dates (starting and stopping).   Your signature appears below every post you make, and helps us see your situation easily without having to read from the top every time.   You could look at my signature for an example.  Instructions for creating your signature are here: Please put your withdrawal history in your signature.  You can edit your signature here: edit your signature in Account Settings.

We generally recommend tapering dose down very slowly - with dose drops of no more than 10% of each dose, and waiting at least 4 weeks before dropping again.  It's usually best to taper only one drug at a time.  Here's some further reading about tapering:

why taper by 10% of my dosage?

the rule of 3KIS - keep it simple keep it slow keep it stable

Please post all your updates and questions about your situation here in your introduction topic, and we will try to help you as best we can.

Hey again

I have tried to make my withdrawal history now. Adjuvanz is the same as Lizdexamfetamine Lisdexamfetamine (see bottom of post for more information). For people with adhd? Risperidon is like nothing else, I have ever tried according to withdrawal symptoms. I though the low dose would be no problem to quit from. But it feels so awfull. Maybe I have tapering it to fast.

Mod Note:  From wikiLisdexamfetamine (contracted from L-lysine-dextroamphetamine) is a substituted amphetamine and an inactive prodrug of the central nervous system (CNS) stimulant dextroamphetamine that is used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and binge eating disorder.
