Hi @oskcajga. Hope you are still with us as I know you were suffering enormously. My symptoms, especially the mental and cognitive ones are almost identical to yours and @IHadPassion's. What's even more striking is that all three of us share similar histories of pursuing careers in academia. Given the dismal state you two were left in from a similar drug combo I was on, I would be more than grateful to hear how you are doing now. I am supposed to commence MD-PhD training at a prestigious institution this upcoming summer, but given that my cognition (blank mind; difficulty speaking and writing; severely degraded working memory, short-term memory and long-term memory; loss of critical thinking and information processing ability, etc.) has hardly improved since this withdrawal ordeal started for me - with the exception of a few windows of improvements every few weeks or months lasting anywhere from several hours to couple of days - I am starting to wonder if it is physiologically possible for me to pursue my childhood ambitions in medicine and research this upcoming summer. Any glitter of hope would be appreciated for all of us dealing with the anhedonia, apathy, depersonalization, cognitive deterioration, squeezing head pressure, burning brain, etc. :). I wish you and all others recovering from this iatrogenic CNS injury continued healing!

Clomipramine: 50mg October-December 2016

Vyvanse: 20mg on most days from December 2016-February 2017, 10mg on most days from February-December 2017, 5-10mg as needed afterward. Stopped Vyvanse April 2018.

Clonazepam: 0.25mg x3 February 2018-April 2018, 0.25mg x2 April-June 2018, 0.25mg x1 June-August 2018, tapered off 0.25mg over the course of 2 weeks.

Escitalopram: 10mg December 2016, 15mg January 2017, 20mg February-December 2017, 30mg January 2018, 40mg February-April; began taper end of April, 15mg mid-June 2018, rushed from 15-0mg from mid-June to late June 2018. Reinstated to 1mg August 2018, then 2mg then 5mg then 10mg over the course of 5 weeks. Decreased from 10mg to 8mg for 2 weeks, then from 8mg to 0mg when Vortioxetine was added. Reinstated within a few days to 2mg (in early November) and then dropped to 1mg in early December.

Vortioxetine: 5mg October-December 2018, tapered off over the course of 10 days after on it.

December 7, December 2018 - June 22: Escitalopram 1mg.

Current: No psychoactive meds ever again.

Supplements: Mg2+ 600-800mg/day (most comes from HardyNutritionals DENs of which I take 12 capsules a day), 3000mg omega-3 oil, 1000mg vitamin C, tried 20+ other supplements before realizing that they are not effective for a destabilized central nervous system.

Hi @oskcajga, ! I saw your posts regarding WD symptoms and wanted to ask you about the numb feet ,tingling , I started having those 1 month ago after 2 months of quitting lexapro, how long did you have them? How did it resolve ? Thanks !!

2013-2021 Lexapro 20mg

10-21 started lexapro tapering

3-22 lexapro free
5-22 started to get paresthesia all over body mainly in legs , numbness, tingling, stinging sensations

6-22 neurologist started me on Lyrica 25mg twice a day to see if it helps with the paresthesia, got a nerve conduction test which was negative

6-22 neurologist suggested quitting lyrica as it isnt seem to be helping, and reinstating 5mg lexapro to see if it helps with the symptoms, thinking of starting lower at 2.5mg

6-13-22 stopped lyrica by doctor order (only took it 4 days )

6-14-22 reinstated 2.5mg lexapro

6-15-22 neurologist added 10mg amitriptyline to try and help with paresthesia sensory symptoms

6-22-22 updose to 5mg lexapro (bad reaction, paresthesia got worse, back to 2.5mg next day)

6-27-22 went to see a new internal doctor, per symptoms (lack of appetite that had been going on for almost a month, the paresthesia, and gi problems), told me to suspend everything i was taking and take new low dose combination drug (Adepsique) 5mg amitriptyline/ 1.5mg Diazepam / 1mg Perphenazine and 40mg Propranolol for daytime sinus tachycardia
