Cleerity
@Shep and @Altostrata So, here I was thinking I was just cruising along, but I must share that these past few days I have been very edgy feeling. I am still getting to sleep in the evening fairly well, but not as quickly as I used to. So, I am thinking of a hold or maybe a slight up dose. I "thought" (wrongly so, me now thinks) that I might not notice a difference during my day time hours, as the clonazepam has been being used to get to sleep at night, but that was an overly presumptuous thought! It is good to be positive, but the reality is that today I was downright anxious feeling through most of the day. What say ye? Just hold or maybe a slight up dose and hold? Thank you! Administrator Altostrata Posted July 23, 2021 Administrator Share Posted July 23, 2021 I would hang in, without updosing, unless this slight feeling becomes more distinct. What say ye? Just hold or maybe a slight up dose and hold? I'm going to "ditto" Alto's advice and add in some information about possible interdose withdrawal. If you think that this anxiety may be from interdose withdrawal, you may want to slowly move a small part of your clonazepam dose to earlier in the day (moving it gradually, an hour per day). That being said, if you're sleeping at night, it may be worth keeping the full dose for nighttime and doing mindful breathing or other non-drug coping to get you through the day. Also monitor for external stressors you may be having, any changes in diet, etc. that could all be variables in the withdrawal equation. Hopefully the hold will help. Please let us know how you're doing over the coming days. Link to comment

Cleerity
Today was significantly better. Just a little edgy and a little anxious, but easily managed. I like to frame the withdrawal periods as a return of my "self" and my faculties, not deadened by the abilify any longer and also coming free of the likewise sedating effects of the clonazepam. I find I am much more reflective, expressive and outspoken than had become normal for me. This is good! I will continue to breathe through the edgy feeling moments as I continue to come home to my self. I will let you know what the next few days bring. Cleerity
Yesterday was also a good day, very minimal anxiety. My sleep also remains good. As I continue to come off these medications, I am faced with taking more responsibility for my healing in an active and conscious manner, which I am doing and doing very well with. I am glad for the progress being made. I share that to say that I believe part of the withdrawal anxiety I have felt is due to a return of emotions/wounds not more fully and consciously dealt with in earlier years. So, despite the concern the other day, I maintain confidence and inner assurance that I am in a good place. Today (tonight) is the day (without holding) that I would make the next small decrease to .30 mg/ml (one little step down from .31 mg/ml). I am inclined and encouraged to do so. I will let you know how I fare in the coming days. Best, Cleerity 1 4/2001 - Clonazepam, .5mg (at bed); 5/2010: 1 mg; 9/2018: .5 mg; 10/20/2018: .47 mg; 10/24/2018: back up to .5 mg. Cleerity
Since my next minuscule step down to .30 mg/ml (present dose) of the clonazepam on 7/25/21, all remains well in my world. Cleerity
Good morning! Just a short note to say that, as of 9/12/21, I finally arrived at .25 mg/ml on my clonazepam taper.
