Hi, all, and, hi, M.

Thank you for your kind questions.

My condition varies much, and, I think it will remain that way until the medicine is stopped. The tapering keeps worsening the quality of sleep. Luckily I get about six hours of sleep and I have no hurry during the mornings, and, I can also try short naps.

The worst harm caused by the drug is a disability to think. That is why e.g. writing in a foreign language is difficult and slow. Similarly, simply reading a factual text is sometimes overwhelming. But the drug reduction itself seems to succeed. With these drops of 5 - 10 percent, there are no worse symptoms.

Hoping good sleep and sleeping well for you too.

  • 2 weeks later...

Here again. I found an article where there is shown a procedure how to support Seroquel withdrawal, https://www.townsendletter.com/article/355-6-patients-wish-to-discontinue-psychotropic-meds/  . In example 2, they present a schedule for that. I find the schedule pretty optimistic, but, I did however add niacine to my daily programme. I already had L-theanine, and, now I will change the amount accordingly.

Sleep well

By the way, in January 2023, I was adviced to go according these 6 mg drops every two weeks (but, without the supporting niacine and l-theanine). It was too heavy for me, as I had already made one too hard drop straight from 50mg till 25 mg. After that I have followed the rule to drop only 5-10% monthly.
