Whether that's because of the cortisol pattern, or just your specific pattern, I don't know for sure, but it's good you seem to be getting some relief If this is what you've done in the past and it works for you, then I would stick with it for now. Going through this myself I'm sorry that anyone has to go through this. Now that I'm starting to realise symptoms for what they are its getting easier to continue and try push past them so far. As ive read they are only temporary and will pass eventually. I assume im in the window stage? Delt with the numbness face/top of hand and annoying but livable twitching eye today and pushed through. I used to take my meds all at the same time. When I woke up. But fear moving it to the morning would throw a curve ball at my system right now? Again I appreciate everyones time and information. It's been very helpful and I'm sure will continue to be. The fourm is a life saver and I have no idea where I would be mentally and physically right now without it. Gingerhead
This morning only took half the B12 pill. About 10-20 min later vision started getting fuzzy. Lights had rainbows. Focusing issues (eyes didn't want to focus) and lips are tingly on and of and slight pressure behind my eyes and sinus. I assume this is all WD symptoms? Last night 9:25 feel normal except vision issues out of left eye mostly peripheral vision, slept decent (930ish to 6:00ish only waking up a few times with no aches and pains thankfully) Edited January 10 by Gingerhead Added information childhood - Ritalin & Buspirone 2005ish - current - Concerta 108mg 2005ish - Dec 2023 -sertaline 100mg Dec2023 - Mar in 2024 vitamin D 1,000iu Dec 2023 - Jan 11th B12 5,000mcg Jan 8th 2024 - Sertaline @25mg Jan 21st 2024 - Feb 18th 2024 - 150mg Omega 3 x3 Feb 3rd 2024 - Vitamin E 400IU Feb 18th - Mar 15 - 500mg Omega 3 krill oil Mar 15th - 1260mg RX omega 3 Link to comment
Gingerhead
Good evening, Just a update. Keep getting a random and not super painful but enough that I feel it pain in my right lower gut, hoping it's just randomness. Today was pretty uneventful except for first thing. Had sinus pressure all day and runny nose on and off (was also working outside on and off) I have noticed that I tend to vision focus out on and off . Light sensitivity is still there (if I look at a led light bulb in my house for example and look away it's as if it was a super bright light. Feet felt wet all day even though my socks were not? Took my 25mg dose at 3pm again today. Fingers crossed that the lack of extreme symptoms are a sign of me stabilizing? One weird symptom is if start urinating I can't seem to cut it off and it tends to keep wanting to urinate? But still have full bladder control otherwise (can hold it). Anything in this list anything I should be worried about? Considering the morning got worse when I had half the b12 should I eliminate it tomorow? I appreciate all the help and can't think that if I had listened to the doctor to go back on 50mg I'd be in a much more world of hurt. So I thank everyone that has assisted me so far. End goal is to get off this med as I don't really feel I need it. But learned my lesson of CT. I know I'm still not in the clear of possible worse symptoms happening but it has changed my perspective on alot of things going through this. Also was getting some ear ache symptoms on and off during the day but they wouldn't last long (5-10mins) at a time. Lips and face either have returned pretty much to normal or I have gotten used to it? I also did not get the "electrical" feeling after taking todays dose. Also super short headaches where it would be like I was going to get one and I felt it coming then it would go away? Will update if I get any worsing symptoms tonite. childhood - Ritalin & Buspirone 2005ish - current - Concerta 108mg 2005ish - Dec 2023 -sertaline 100mg Dec2023 - Mar in 2024 vitamin D 1,000iu Dec 2023 - Jan 11th B12 5,000mcg Jan 8th 2024 - Sertaline @25mg Jan 21st 2024 - Feb 18th 2024 - 150mg Omega 3 x3 Feb 3rd 2024 - Vitamin E 400IU Feb 18th - Mar 15 - 500mg Omega 3 krill oil Mar 15th - 1260mg RX omega 3 Link to comment

I'm assuming you haven't had them prior? I'm not overly concerned. Like I said there hasn't been like fall over pain or extreme symptoms I can't work through thus far. I had no symptoms before hand other then the occasional muscle twitch and restless leg symptoms which have seemed to pretty much stopped for the most part. It's funny because I keep telling my wife how great it is to be able to urinate normally again. Funny how the little things you take for granted until they are taken from you then are given back to you, you appreciate them more. 9 minutes ago, LotusRising said: Was this the first time you took it? Gingerhead
Good morning. Night was somewhat uneventful. Woke up a few times feeling like I had to take a leak,(did of course but not enough that I felt warranted waking up to) and went back to bed. Woke once with slight chest (left side) pains, which through breathing I calmed down and shut down overthinking it and went back to bed. Becoming more enlightened to how I have actually been the whole time I've been on this med. Was talking with my wife and she even seen the difference and sees what I'm assuming is the windows of when in her words "you actually give a ****". She's very supportive and understands that this is going to be a possibly a long bumpy road but there is light at the end of the tunnel as I had glimpse of my true self when I was coming off it CT. Hatred towards doctors are growing and I'm becoming even more adamant that my end goal is to get off this med and finally "feel" again. I've always been good at projecting emotion when needed so most people around me will probably not overly notice until I finally become my true "clear" self off this med. Again i fear where I would be if it wasn't for the forum and I truly appreciate and thank everyone who volunteers. You are helping many broken souls to eventual become whole again. In other words I'm not going anywhere 😂 I'm on this forum for the long haul and hopefully once I become healed eventually I can pay it forward by helping other people going through the same horror and come out on the flipside a better and truer self. Skipped B12 dose -no weird effects like yesterday Some tingling in lips still and sometimes finger tips but slowly going away each day. Brain fog still but slowly I feel it's getting better (at least thats what I'm telling my self). Gingerhead
So I've been noticing that my symptoms tend to taper quite a bit until I take my dose then within a couple hours I start to experience a new wave of symptoms. What date did you reinstate? In general, do you feel your symptoms have improved? I restarted on Monday @25mg as advised in here not as advised by doctor to start @50mg it's hard to say, as each day seems to be new symptoms that eventually ease away towards the time that I take the next dose. Most new symptoms happen within two to - 5 hours after taking the dose of 25mg. I've noticed in the past couple days since reinstating I've become numb and unable to really feel any emotion to things that should. A hour after taking todays dose I just got a feeling as if my head is trying to radiate heat on and off then it has gone away for now, Not extreme by any means but enough to notice it when it happened. Ear feels like border earache is trying to start noticed that yesterday as well within a couple hours of taking the dose. My "zoning" out /zombie feelint also seems to become slightly worse as does the sinus pressure. I'm trying to keep a list of symptoms as they happen each day. I'll start timing them in relation to taking the dose as well. The part that makes me feel I need less is how as I approach dosage time I get clearer and more able to function and talk, brain fog starts lifting, I can enjoy some things again. I'll take my dosage at 3 as I have been so far. Basicly I stop feeling "drugged" I guess for lack of a better word. I'll keep updating as things happen and note any changes on here. I have a doctors appointment on Thursday. Ill be bringing up that I want to stay at 25mg and eventually want to taper. If they resist I'll just tell them I'm gonna stay at my current 25mg dosage assuming no really bad effects happen between now and then and figure out a way to taper without their help. The one doctor at the walk-in wanted to switch me to another drug. Did you have these symptoms before you stopped abruptly? To be honest I've always been somewhat emotionalless but I've also been on these since I can remeber. Only felt waves of strong emotion once I CT in december.and have been chasing that since restarting. I don't recall the brain fog or any of the other symptoms I have had thus far tho. I also used to have a bulletproof gut and could eat just about anything without any issues. Last night was the first time ever experiencing gut issues other then the previous stabbing pain three or four hours after taking the 100mg previously. Gingerhead
1249 listening to a song caused goosebumps as I can relate to it and made me chuckle with happiness somewhat 146 random front left temple ache for a few seconds then gone 330 mostly right knee sorta achey and feel on and off like it sorta wanna lock up,mind you I was experiencing this before stopping the pill cold turkey? Been trying to stay busy to keep my body moving to aid in any digestive problems I was having. For the first time since starting back on the pill @25mg I've started to get glimpse of emotion again which I'm enjoying as it comes and clinging onto them during the moments I don't really have much emotion. Hand eye coordination might be a tad off, but I'm pushing through it. One weird effect I have noticed and keep mentioning to my wife is that most of my body aches have been gone for at least three ish weeks. My knees and legs and lower back and hips used to hurt something awful and now they don't? Could this be related? Also get spurts of anxietyish when pill time is approaching but I feel that's due to fearing what symptoms I'm going to feel afterwards. childhood - Ritalin & Buspirone 2005ish - current - Concerta 108mg 2005ish - Dec 2023 -sertaline 100mg Dec2023 - Mar in 2024 vitamin D 1,000iu Dec 2023 - Jan 11th B12 5,000mcg Jan 8th 2024 - Sertaline @25mg Jan 21st 2024 - Feb 18th 2024 - 150mg Omega 3 x3 Feb 3rd 2024 - Vitamin E 400IU Feb 18th - Mar 15 - 500mg Omega 3 krill oil Mar 15th - 1260mg RX omega 3 Link to comment

Ok thank you, also got soft chews of the omega 3 so I'm able to choose how much to take at one time, same as the magnesium is liquid and Ill be able to control how much at one time as well. Night was up and down with having to go to the bathroom every couple-4ish hours. Woke with panic again but talked myself down again and went back to bed. Had a spout of ringing in my left ear but came somewhat mild then disappeared within 4 seconds. Vision seems to be getting clearer and I can grasp most everything I did before reinstating a week ago. Bladder issue (having to go but weak stream like a UTI) hit but then a hour later I urinated just fine. Here's the list of the little bit I felt today. Kept myself pretty busy all day at work. Had to shut down myself from worrying about what other people were doing that would effecting other people (was always like this as long as I remember) a couple times as I felt it ramp up but was short-lived and controlled. Noticed my hands are not overly steady when I try to hold them steady. But they really havnt been in the past as far as I can remeber and seem to be improving over what they have been since I've been checking since I started this. I also giggled at my kid today over something she was doing that was silly. So I guess for now emotion is also coming back. 12pm ear left side slight ache 108pm slight ringing in right ear for less then a minute then went away Took dose at 3pm 415 Feeling like I had to rush to bathroom to urinate but symptoms replicating UTI again (weak stream slow flow) 456 urinated fine/normal Should note I've been drinking as much water as I can, might slow down on it at night as it's somewhat annoying waking often to urinate. Been also trying to space my meals out more regularly then I have in the past before starting this "Journey" Open to any suggestions on things I can do differently or improve on. 1 childhood - Ritalin & Buspirone 2005ish - current - Concerta 108mg 2005ish - Dec 2023 -sertaline 100mg Dec2023 - Mar in 2024 vitamin D 1,000iu Dec 2023 - Jan 11th B12 5,000mcg Jan 8th 2024 - Sertaline @25mg Jan 21st 2024 - Feb 18th 2024 - 150mg Omega 3 x3 Feb 3rd 2024 - Vitamin E 400IU Feb 18th - Mar 15 - 500mg Omega 3 krill oil Mar 15th - 1260mg RX omega 3 Link to comment
Gingerhead
Good evening, Nothing much to report today. Still feel slight brain fog, took my dose at 3pm again along with my Concerta and vitamin D at 7am this morning. Noticed joints started to "crack" again including my knees. I'd assume it's the 25mg sertaline doing this? Slept throughout the night without much issue. Not having to urinate as much but also cut my water back some as going to the bathroom every couple hours was starting to get annoying. Had emotional experiences during the day so there's that (not feeling completely numb anymore) I'd almost hazzard to say I'm almost to were I was before I quit the 100mg cold turkey over a month ago if it wasnt for the brain fog/zoning out on and off part. Knock on wood I keep stabilizing and then can attempt to taper down. How will I know I stabilized? Once/if the brain fog lifts? I am thankful again I found this forum as I can't help but think back to if I had listened to the doctor and reinstated at 50mg what world of hurt I might be in. I know I'm not out of the woods yet for symptoms but I still want to thank everyone here again! I will update again tomorow with hopefully nothing to exciting to report. 1 childhood - Ritalin & Buspirone 2005ish - current - Concerta 108mg 2005ish - Dec 2023 -sertaline 100mg Dec2023 - Mar in 2024 vitamin D 1,000iu Dec 2023 - Jan 11th B12 5,000mcg Jan 8th 2024 - Sertaline @25mg Jan 21st 2024 - Feb 18th 2024 - 150mg Omega 3 x3 Feb 3rd 2024 - Vitamin E 400IU Feb 18th - Mar 15 - 500mg Omega 3 krill oil Mar 15th - 1260mg RX omega 3 Link to comment
