Northcoastboy: Stopping benzo withdrawal and starting Seroquel withdrawal

I will search and read!

 

Still never found anyone who has switched from 150mgs SeroquelXR to immeadiate release and written a full taper history.

 

I have excepted I probably won't find one.

 

I have believed all the horror stories about Seroquel.

I have not suffered any side effects so far.

 

My benzo taper wasn't too bad. Maybe helped by Seroquel and Mirtazapine.

Just tried a 25mg cut.

i was on 150mgs XR taken at night.

switched to 100 XR and 25mgs IR.

Felt great for 7 days, slightly bloated.

Day 8 and 9 stomach became distended and extremely painful.

Couldnt eat and just sips of water.

Could hardly walk due to pain.

Didnt sleep at all.

 

Last night took 150mgs XR

slept ok

Today appetite returning. 

Slept ok

Belly still distended and sore to touch.

 

I know I will have to do a slow taper.

Did it with Valium.

What do you think I should do next?

When to take the IR tablets?
