Hi frogie

i see your uncle has arrived today,  did you manage to get all the food you wanted to or are you going to have to travel further afield.

Hope your fiances father keeps improving. Horrible time of year whenever relatives become very unwell.  My father died on 23 December which completely threw us all.

Do you think you will get to see your granddaughter after christmas. I will keep everything crossed that you do.

2006 After sudden death of mother put on 20mg of citaloprom for depression.

2014 Drug stopped working after two weeks of panic attacks felt fine.

Aug 2014. Doctor put me on lyrica for rash on face, diarrhoea, sleeplessness, muscle cramp, bruising. Initial dose too strong, halved dose.  Stopped taking it 22/10/14

2014 severe anxiety after several ssri's attempted, seem to have developed severe  sensitivity to any drug, but giving severe  reactions put on cipralex drop form.started on 2 drops and had to increase by 1 drop every 3 days. Eventually got to 12 drops and had to stop as side effects every step of the way dreadful. Psychiatrist kept telling me to stick with it and my body would get used to it.  Eventually down to 8 drops. Bad reactions throughout the time I was on it

Have been on this until may 2017. Stopped over two weeks. Felt fine for 5 weeks after initial dizziness, nightmares, nausea, insomnia.

Given diazepam by gp and told to take them when anxiety bad. Have only taken them very rarely as they frighten me.

Last two weeks severe anxiety returned and feeling hopeless

11July 2017. Cipralex 2mg. Anxiety, nausea still severe

13 July 2017 Cipralex 1mg due to advice of too high dosage  by kind person on thus site. so dropped from 2mg to 1mg and feelings of anxiety still at severe. As well as nausea, headaches, fatigue.

15 July still feeling extremely anxious verging on panic. Nausea, feelings of fainting, fatigue. Lots of head pains

3 August. Three weeks into trying to stabilise on one drop of cipralex. Still have waking from 4am. Sporadic upset stomach. Nausea.  High anxiety.  Throbbing/burning in nether regions seems to have eased for time being but stabbing/burning in calves of legs. Tinnitus. Occasional half to whole better days but mainly still struggling. Fatigue

Hi Scorpio:

I was able to get most of the food we wanted, and improvised on the other. We will have a nice Christmas dinner.

Yeah my Uncle made it. My fiancé is going to finish the bathroom this weekend :)

Holidays are hard on me too. One of my grandfathers passed away on Christmas Day and a week later an Uncle passed away on New Years Day. I hope his dad improves for a little while.

I text my daughter in law about seeing my granddaughter and haven't heard back for 3 days now. I have no idea what's going on. I hope I get to see her.

I hope you are feeling better. I just have some anxiety but it's that time of year for me.

Take care,

Frogie xx

Hi everyone:

I'm going to make this short.

I'm having some anxiety still, but I think it's just this time of year, and my fiancés father. I'm having some nausea this morning, but I made lasagna last night and wonder if it was too spicy for my stomach.

Brownie is doing well.

It was 16 degrees yesterday, felt like 3 most of the day. It did flurrie a little, but not enough to count.

We had a 70% chance of snow Saturday, but they have knocked it down to 20%. I want snow. I told my fiancé if I wanted to live in warm weather I would live in Florida or California. I want the seasons.

Haven't heard anything about seeing my granddaughter, so hopefully they will let me know soon.

I hope everyone is having a good day, and ready for the holidays.

Take care,

Frogie xx

how wonderful two things you wished for and it’s not  even Christmas Day yet. Enjoy the snow and that relaxing bath. Hopefully once relaxing in that longed for bath the anxiety will fade away for the rest of the Christmas period. Brownie enjoying her food another wish come true.

My anxiety is through the  roof along with other symptoms but have now finished all the prep for Christmas so going to stick my head in the tv to distract myself and hopefully it will all fade away for me too.

My anxiety is through the  roof along with other symptoms but have now finished all the prep for Christmas so going to stick my head in the tv to distract myself and hopefully it will all fade away for me too.

Hi Scorpio:

I did get a couple of wishes, snow, and my bath. And a couple more. Brownie ate good and my fiancés dad is doing ok. Just wish the snow would stick around but going to be in the 30's today and tomorrow and the 40's after that, so it won't last and no more in the forecast.

I still have anxiety too. You aren't alone. I hope yours lets up for the holidays.

I'm going to go soak in the tub.

You have a good little while. I'll let you know how my tub is. :)

Take care,

Frogie xx

The bath was wonderful. And we still have snow on the ground so I guess we do have a white Christmas!

How's your house going? Hope well.

ForgI - I am well but hoping to get the price lowered on the house as the survey has highlighted some concerns.

Feeling a bit fearful of all the possible changes in my life this next year.  I know nothing stays the same and you just have to adapt but I have a lot of complicated family financial stuff to sort and I know there will be trouble.

But I have my physical and mental healt though and so can manage.  My daughter says I look tired but I am working a lot but it is not the work that tires me - it is the family stuff.

The estate agent seems to think I can make a quick decision but it takes me days to decide on a new shade of lipstick.

Joy.

Hi Joy:

I hope you get the house price lowered so you can enjoy it.

I know it must be difficult to make decisions, especially when it comes to estates and family. Someone will always feel left out. But you will make the correct decision.

Rest and don't worry for a few days. Enjoy your granddaughter.

It's nice to hear from you.

Question:

As I've been writing about my anxiety ramped up and having a headache behind my right eye (I don't know if I mentioned that) almost everyday for a week. I've been blaming it on the remodel, the holidays, etc... I just went to order my meds. I opened my bottle of Xanax and noticed there are quite a few in there. My prescription runs out on the 30th. I counted them out and I have enough until the 15th of next month!

With everything going on, and my Uncle being here I guess I haven't been taking it like I should be.

So, my question is: Is it normal to have a headache because I haven't been taking the Xanax regularly? I take my 2 morning ones, but must have been neglecting my afternoon and I hardly take my night one anyways? Or is this headache something I should be concerned about and should I see the dr right away?

Thanks for any information anyone can give me.

Take care,

Frogie xx

Hi LG:

I never forget my meds, especially my Xanax. I guess that's why my anxiety has been so ramped up.

Christmas was a nightmare! We had a nice dinner, watched football but I never got to talk to my granddaughter. I kept texting and calling and was ignored. I finally got to Skype with her yesterday, so I felt better. She wants to come out and spend a few days. I don't know what's going on.

I'm glad to know that my headache is because of forgetting to take my afternoon Xanax. I guess I just got busy trying to get everything done with the remodeling and getting the dinner ready,  and then my Uncle being here, I spaced it out. At least I know I don't have a brain tumor or something. I even took migraine medicine twice and it helped a little.

Thanks for helping me out. I'm so sorry you had a rotten Christmas Day too.

Here is a BIG ((((HUG)))) for you. Hope you feel better.

Take care,

Frogie xx

Hi Flowers:

I'm glad you had a good Christmas Day. And we did have snow on the ground, and it was soooo cold it tried to snow, but we had some flurries here and there. Christmas is not my favorite time of year, I'm glad it's over. We did have a nice dinner and watched football. And some movies.

I finally got to Skype with my granddaughter yesterday, so I'm better now. She wants to come visit so she can see her new room, bathroom and of course get her Christmas presents.

We finally got all the remodeling done. I feel better about that. The bath was so nice.

I take 1mg Xanax 4 times a day, but I never take my night one, so I only take 3mgs a day. I think I forgot to take my afternoon one for about 5-6 days. I went to order my meds and had a lot of extra ones. I'm glad it's causing my headache. I never forget. I think it was because of the remodeling, and my Uncle being here and just being upset over everything. Way too much for me to handle at once right now. So you think I should stop taking my afternoon Xanax since I haven't taken it for a while? I'm glad though that I'm not the only one that has forgotten to take them.

I have my Christmas decorations down already, didn't put up a tree, just a few things. They house is back to normal. My Uncle went home this morning.

I'll be fine. I just have a slight headache over and behind my right eye. I'm glad it isn't a brain tumor. You know how you think in WD.

Thanks for caring. It means a lot.

I'm glad you are feeling well.

Take care,

Hi Frogie,

So sorry to read that your Christmas was not a good one. Forgetting your Xanax can certainly cause a headache.  Hopefully that headache over and behind your right eye will go away soon.  I'm glad to hear you got to Skype with your granddaughter. How's the darling little Brownie doing?

Hi Frogie

Just to clarify  - no I don't think you should stop taking your afternoon dose of xanax. I am not a doctor or mod but think you should carry on as you were before you forgot. I meant for you  not to taper your  lexapro anymore until you see how things pan out with your missing doses of xanax.

Hopefully now you are back to normal in the household you won't have so much to cope with and will remember to take your meds.  I really hope you get to see your granddaughter soon. That will give you something to look forward to I am sure.

I know you are longing for snow but I am longing for warmer sunnier days here - I can't stand the cold and it is been very chilly, windy and sometimes rainy here!

Thinking of you and brownie.

Hi Flowers, RS and LG:

I'll be ok. I talked to Shep over on the Benzo site. She said it will cause a headache because I took away 1/3 of my Xanax. But I could go back to my dosage and should be ok. I'm really tired of the headaches. I haven't been too wise lately with my meds. First I made a mistake with my Lexapro and now this. I don't know what's going on with me. Just way too much going on. Now it's slowed down, so I will be ok. And be more cautious.

Flowers - I live in a state where we have seasons. I look forward to,the changes. It's been cool and we did get snow, but tomorrow  it's going to be back in the 60's. I give up! But then it's supposed to go back into the 20's, but not forecasting snow.

RS - I haven't talked to you forever! I'm trying to stay off of here. I was spending far too much time on here and Andy and I decided  it was best for me to back off a little. I'm not going anywhere, just not on 10 times a day. Hope you are doing well.

LG - Another big (((HUG))) we are going to make it with these stupid headaches. Do you take anything for them?

Brownie has been eating pretty well. She sleeps a lot but right next to me. She's 16 so I guess that's normal. I think she's happy to have her mommy back and the house back to normal.

I hope to have my granddaughter before she goes back to school from Christmas break. I still have her presents.

Thanks everyone for thinking of me and caring. It means a lot.

Take care,

Hi Frogie

To help remember your meds you can put them into plastic container like strips you can get from the chemist with the day of the week on and the time of day, and that way you can easily see if you have taken a dose or not.  Some posh versions have a timer attached to them, or you could set an alarm clock or your mobile phone.

I did this for years when heavily medication, if I hadn't I would have been in an even greater mess as I couldn't remember the day of week really.  I once turned up for church on a Saturday!

I feel your disappointment over Christmas, but it is far too hyped up by people trying to get our cash off us and leaves most people feeling flat, it is pretty exhausting for everyone.  It is good to have a break from work and to see family, but seeing family can be a mix of good/bad and at Christmas time stirs up lots of strange feelings for a lot of people.

Jan 2023 to July 2023 250mg quetiapine

Tapered off quetiapine again over 2 months - now weight problem

Hi Joy:

It's nice to hear from you.

I only take Xanax as a tablet form. I have liquid Lexapro. I have one of those dosage plastic containers, but quit using it when I went off everything else. I think I was feeling pretty good actually, with my Uncle here that I just forgot to take it. I didn't have one panic attack, but remembered my morning dose. But that's because I take it with my Lexapro.

Last time I was at the dr he wanted me to start tapering Xanax. I told him no, that I was only tapering 1 med at a time. He said ok.

We finally got the remodeling done. Now my granddaughter wants to come visit, I still have her presents. I have to work it out so I can see her soon. But I'm very glad Christmas is over.

I hope everything is going well with you and your house. How exciting! And you are feeling well.

Take care,

Frogie xx

PS. They have Saturday church here, so I would be ok except it's not a church I go too lol...
