Thank you everyone for your kind words and prayers for Bill. Today I looked and the tooth next to the infected one is infected now. The doctor said it could clear up to clear up by the time he is done with his med's. We'll take him back Monday.  For a little guy his mom is too poor to get an implant and it's a front tooth lol.  I sure wish I had his good attitude when I feel bad.

Really struggling. I think the dilflucan  has triggered some major anxiety. Pain and symptoms not better yet.  I have moments when it is almost gone but it comes back,  it is almost like WD. This is a second day and I have to take another one Monday.. I see the urologist next Friday. Having having trouble doing WD and the pain.   Still trouble eating

I've been praying for you extra, and will continue to do so.  I hope and pray after you take your last diflucan on Monday, things will settle down for you. I hope that Bill's second infected tooth clears up with his current med regimen.  You are dealing with a lot.  Try to take it easy when you can, and do some things you enjoy that relax you, if possible.

@Shep  Thank you. I am in the mindset this will be a mild case.  Achey, mild sore throat, fever, tickle throat, some tight chest in the night but used to that with WD and feel bad. Only the whole I think I am doing pretty good.  Temperature is down .3 from last night.  It was only 99.3.  Watching that.  Missing this much work and I had a full week is going to be rough.  I know I can't go back until 5 days after fever.

I'm sorry to hear this.  Is this your second go round with COVID?  Take good care of yourself, and get plenty of rest.  I hope Bill is doing better.  Prayers, as always!

Yes.  I tested negative the 1st time and it was very mild.  I decided it had to be that as it was nothing like i had ever had and oh the echaustion. This time uncomfortable more symptoms this time but like a mild flu.  Very thankful.  Thank you for your prayers and always caring. Bill is good.  Trying another round of antibiotics before pulling.  The teeth are better but not well.  Praying this works.  It is front teeth and his poor mama can't afford implants!  Lol   HUGS!

Covid update:  Day # 4.  Doing really good.  No fever today.  Don't feel 100% but feeling so much better.  Kinda feel like normal WD LOL.  I only had one surge of anxiety in the last 4 days. Another thing to write my gratitude journal. I have had some today so I guess I am healing. 

As @getofflexcalls it, my WD Monkey brain (love that term!) is working over time now.  Still battling yeast infection.  Good improvement after 1st dose now symptoms have increased again but not as bad as before.  Took pill #2 Tues.  Will take pill number #3 Friday.  Think I am being impatient and not giving them time to work.  It takes 7 days for each pill to work, maybe as long as 10 for all symptoms to leave.  Just concerned at the step backwards.   A little paranoid after all that has happened in the last 4 months.

@ShepDiflucan.  Yeast infection was healing until 2 days after I came down with covid.  My gyn is on vacation until aug. 1 when I have an appointment. This pain and discomfort has caused so much anxiety the last few months.  Dont want to endure more for 2 weeks until he is back.  Praying this works.  Scared of what it will take care of it with my med sensitivity.  I haven't taken this many meds ever.   A bit of a setback in covid recovery - unable to eat or drink much yesterday.  Most if day in bed. Strong anxiety and panic all night.  My daughter that was around me the day before I came down with it (of course we didn't know)  has it now.  I feel so bad. 😭   She has a four-year-old and a two-year-old. The health department said since we're both sick I can go over there and help helper. Very drained but I do not want her to do this alone.

@Moonpie hi , i discovered i had a kidney stone a month ago and it hasnt passed yet , the whole time ive been worried about getting a uti , well yesterday i took a urine culture test and it cam back as greater than 100,000 lactobacillus species , i looked it and it said uti , i told my doctor i have no symptoms and he said "if no symptoms i would not treat it " i do have some discomfort now in the bladder but i do not know if its from my kidney stone.... 😑 im terrified of antibiotics   , but dont want to get sepsis either... My question did the antibiotics rev up your wd symptoms ??? I'm so scared

Hi @Phoenixmama. I am sorry to hear you are suffering so.  I am very sensitive to meds so I am leary anyway.  They gave me amoxicillin until my culture came back.  And  I did fine. But it wasn't the antibiotic the culture showed I needed for my infection. They gave me a macrobid which is great for UTI's and it cleared it up and I had no problems. Only the yeast infection afterwards which I am still dealing with.  The antibiotics you want to avoid that can mess with your wd are those listed below.  I got this list off the site here. Have you considered going to a urologist. They would be able to give you the exact treatment you need.  Hope you get relief and answers soon.  Please let me know what you find out. WD is hard enough to deal with without adding another condition with more discomfort!

fluoroquinolone medications

• ciprofloxacin (Cipro),
• gemifloxacin (Factive),
• levofloxacin (Levaquin),
• moxifloxacin (Avelox),
• norfloxacin (Noroxin), and

So my urologist just said “ if there are no symptoms I wouldn’t treat it” , he said sometimes bacteria is present in the opening where the pee comes out… causing the test to say there is a uti idk I don’t trust doctors anymore so idk to believe what he says…. My dentist gave me amoxicillin for my wisdom tooth infection but said I won’t have to take if I can get a oral surgeon to take it out soon , and I have an appointment for this Monday to see when I can get the next appointment….to me it’s sounds like the universe is trying to get me to take antibiotics  one way  or another 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 but I keep fighting it , I’m so scared of a reaction, because I am a adverse reaction member , thanks for your input it means the world to me ❤️

@Phoenixmama sorry I did not read well and  didn't see  you said it was a urologist. I feel the same way. And I am also a part that club. And have been even before withdraw or these meds. Just to make sure to avoid the ones in the list I sent you. There is a link on the website that explains antibiotics a not to take. But I am not techy enough to send you the link on my phone lol. Not all antibiotics will cause a reaction.   Until I took the macrobid I only had 2 I could take now I can add it to the list of ones I can.  I do not trust doctors either and have rarely seen them till now.  But somehow things that have happened since March had been a set of falling domino's that has put me in this position of deoending on them.    Let me know how things turn out.

I’m so sorry about the things that have been happening to you , I’ve also been having this happen to me , I was fine dec through April /may then I got covid again and on my 9th day I went to the er in pain found out I have a kidney stone , for a month I’ve been trying my best not to get a infection with the stone like some people do , then I find out I have to get my wisdom tooth this past Monday now i find out I have a uti 😩 , so I feel your pain and I hope your fur baby is feeling better , sending love ❤️ and light ☀️ To you two

@Phoenixmama bless your heart!! You have been through the mill too!  I totally empathize! I have had a lot of surprise dental work thrown in too. I keep putting of having the tooth placed in my implant till all this settles.  It certainly wears you down. Praying you find healing in all these areas soon.   Please take care.

17 months off Lexapro.   Still in the throes of covid.  Weak. Exhausted and laying on bed. Thankful I have not had a really bad case. This is day 9.   Yestetday was all day anxiety.   Just stayed in bed - I can accept  the anxiety - physical pain i must work on. Still yeast infection ab pain. Working on accepting and not allowing it to be the fear/anxiety trigger it has become. ( @Mia1❤ ) Felt worse after taking my 4th dose of Diflucan so don't know if it is a reaction, covid or both.  Got an appointment with my gyn a week earlier than what I had.  Go this coming Monday and the urologist Friday. A friend is taking me to both so blessed. Resting and praying Friday I will be better when I take Bill.  Another friend is taking me there. Another blessing. Playing it by ear but may take next week off work too.  Starting back plus dr. Visits may be too much.  3 weeks without pay ugh.  But dont want to cause a set back.  God always provides.  My daughter is still sick.  My 4 yr old grandson has covid and scarlet fever (found out yesterday)  the 2 yr. Old is running a low fever and her husband just tested positive.  Please pray for them. This too shall pass.  Another item definately not on my bucket list lol

@Believer thank you for your caring and encouragement.  I feel my attitude is not what it should be much of the time.  God humbled me to the core today and made me see my ingratitude toward Him and how small my suffering is.  He has been loving a gracious to me and I have failed to see in how many ways and to thank Him as i should.  So ashamed of myself and only focusing on self pity and complaining.  Lord forgive me.  Bless you Believer and your sweet spirit.   HUGS❤

I didn’t read your post as complaining, rather an update on how you are doing. I’m pretty sure he does understand our complaints though. He wants us to bring our pain and suffering to him and to be thankful/grateful for the blessings he bestows upon us. Sometimes it can be hard to see the blessings through the fatigue and pain, but you’re right, they are there. I too struggle with my attitude, we are human, not perfect.
 

Hopefully, by sharing our journeys here, others may learn and be spared by the harm of these drugs.

@Altostrata@Shep and anyone who has used these drinks.  I was wondering what experiences people have had with Ensure or Boost.  I am concerned about the B vitamins, so many synthetic ingredients and high sugar content that i have had to avoid with my WD as they are huge anxiety triggers.  Anxiety surges have been a part of this illness (of course) and in me recovering especially on waking.  I have lost a so much weight with covid.  I think i have mentioned i quit weighing when I hit 112 as I didn't need to add to the anxiety but i know I have lost a lot more by just how I look.  I usually weigh 117 to 118 in my pjs in the morning.  On a regular basis i do not eat a lot.  No appetite since my going off lexapro and just dont hold that much. Since stopping Lexapro I very rarely feel hunger.  Many small snacks meals dont work as i just cant hold that much. I need to get my strength back to heal and go back to work.  I eat bacon & eggs for breakfast and meat vegetable and potato for lunch (not a,big portion though)  and 1/2 cup of blackberries or blueberries with cream and a little palm sugar at night.  This is pretty much it.  Woukd appreciate any suggestions. Thank you for helping me once again

I don't know anything about food supplements like Ensure or Boost. They are full of artificial ingredients.

I have turned the Covid corner!  Been up all day doing things around the house.  Have eaten more than I have in weeks. Practically no anxiety.  A little tired but doing good.  Looking forward to going to the Dr. Tomorrow and getting answers for my other issues. So thankful to the Lord!

I have also had a kidney stone for the past 3 days
I went to emergency medicine yesterday and the examination showed that there is a 2.5 mm stone in one of the ureters.
There is a constant need to urinate and pain
The general feeling of well-being has also been sick recently.
I hope that a stone of this size will come out by itself soon.
The anxiety level is high again
I am also afraid of all kinds of antibiotics and medicines because I am afraid that they will aggravate my withdrawal symptoms

I am sorry to hear you are suffering and having such a hard time.  Wd is enough all by itself. Pain increases anxiety sure.  I don't exactly where it is but there is a link that shows which antibiotics to avoid flaring wd.  I understand your concerns.  I had them too when I had to take a new one a month ago for a UTI.  I don't tolerate many well.  I took  Macobid had no problems.  A urine test 3 1/2 days later showed it was already gone.  I finished all 7 days of course.  Praying for you to heal.  ❤
