Hello @manymoretodays. so far I have reduced it by a maximum of 10%. so under 3 mg it's better with only 5%. I managed to switch to the self-made liquid 💪💪

Hi there. I thought they were a bit mean. I'm at 1.5 milligrams. I don't know if it's a distraction or yourself, but I'm like a ticking time bomb. I get angry very quickly, in fact, anything triggers me. There is no sign of my basic problem, what I started taking. No anxiety or panic. Only listlessness, which makes me very nervous, plus this nervousness is anger. I don't know if it could be me or the withdrawal. Hello

Hello. I thought I'd do a little situation report. I am currently on 1.2 mg cipralex. I struggle with a lot of emotional problems, if you can call it a struggle. I feel like a toxic person. I can't even articulate this properly😢 simply like some selfish person. I don't know if it has to do with the loss of emotions or what. I miss things that were hard to digest. He just can't care less what other people want. Whereas in the past I was interested in pleasing my partner, now this leaves me completely cold. I miss those good feelings. I hope I managed to describe it somewhat comprehensibly. Can anyone relate to this?

Hello. I thought I'd post a little update. I am on 1.05mg escitalopram. There have been some changes in the last two days. Work is not stressful. other times, the whole day I thought that I didn't feel like it at all. Now, however, I've been doing quite well for the last 2 days. I hope it's not just the good weather. This year I will finally finish the reduction as planned. I send strength and health to everyone

Hello @Carmie. it really only covers work, but it is quite variable. the fact that I can handle the work is already a step forward. unfortunately I struggle with many other things. thanks for stopping by

Hello @Greatful. I'm glad you stopped by. Unfortunately, the success story is still a long way off. But I'm trying to move forward. Demotivation and apathy are greatly reduced. maybe these are my two main symptoms and fatigue. I wish you strength and endurance. Thanks again for stopping by

Glad to hear you’re able to handle the work Johni. It’s good to hear too that your apathy and demotivation have reduced as well. I’m sorry to hear you struggle with other things though. All the best with your continued tapering💛

Hello. I've been re-reading quite a few threads lately. Other people also have such problems that they don't care what the other person wants. Like a selfish person. Only the self exists. 🙈🙈🙈 This has never been typical of me. can anyone relate to this? Could it be related to emotional numbness? it makes almost every relationship difficult

Hey @Johni, yes a lot of people on here feel quite numb. I think when people are struggling so much with withdrawals they can become quite focused on themselves, it’s so easy for all of us to do, as we are going through such distress. I think it’s really important for me personally to still be there for my friends and other people, despite how sick I am, as it makes me happy. 
 

I’m sorry your emotional numbness is so severe, I hope you find a little something throughout the day that makes you smile, like the sun, an animal, a plant, a movie, some music, nature etc. 💛

Hello @Carmie. thanks for the answer. in the meantime my relationship ended. I'm not even surprised at all. I'm completely depressed now. I am trying more and more to take better care of myself. I walked every day. I started exercising and meditating again. I hope it will help. What really bothers me is that I don't know if it's me or the withdrawal. I hope everything is fine with you. sending healing power from Hungary

Hi @Johni, I’m sorry you’re feeling depressed. Going out for walks in nature is certainly something I find soothing too. I notice the flowers, trees, birds etc. I like taking photos of nature as well while I’m out and about.

Hello. I thought I'd give a little status report. I'm doing quite well with the reduction. However, I don't know if what I'm experiencing are withdrawal symptoms or something else. I've read a lot of threads, but I'm still not sure. It's constant apathy. so it is very difficult to work. Work almost annoys me 🙈🙈 zero motivation. I feel good alone when I have nothing to do. Anything I know how to do, I just find it very difficult and unnecessary without desire and motivation. I hope everyone else is doing well. Perseverance to everyone

hello friends. time to apply again. today is the second day I've been drug free. It lasted 4 years. I got off with 0.01 milligrams. Thank heaven I have no problems so far, I hope it stays that way. Sometimes there is a slight mood swing. I hope everyone is well and moving towards their goals 😊 Sending strength to everyone 😊

Hello. To be honest, I'm fine. Such things have indeed happened in the past in the past that would influence. Unfortunately, I'm not in the mood for anything, I'm working but I'm just vegetating next to it. I'm not depressed, just apathetic. I try to make a difference. Thanks for asking. @Johni  That is so good to hear.  Not the low interest but the no depression.  Wasn't depression a issue for you?  I tend to get depression that rears it's ugly head from time to time.    I guess it's nice to hear when someone jumps that they didn't end up in a huge wave.  

 

You did a great job staying focused, even when things were tough you kept your eyes on the prize🌞 I would have to bet things will only get better and better for you.  Remember to write a success story when you feel ready too.   Many suffering from this temporary chemical brain injury need to read and hear from those that have made it through. 

 

I am at 0.3mg of Lexapro and wonder when to jump.  I had a really bad adr to the drug but had to taper to get off because of awful withdrawal.  I know as I go down I do feel better with the adr but that awful dip with the cuts in not fun.
