Was stable until 2017 2017 Trazadone 50 mg (June) Effexor to 113 mg (2 weeks) Effexor 150 mg for a month . Took 75 mg until November. . Lithium 10 days, Lamactil 10 day aug-nov15 ativan October : Prozac bridge to get off 75 mg of effexor Used 10 mg of prozac. If you can continue to stabilize for a period of time without changing your dose, I think you may start to see some improvement in symptoms. It can take a while to achieve that stability so a degree of patience, is needed. It would be great if you could find some non- drug coping techniques that really work for you. Please have a read through this topic : Non-drug techniques to cope with emotional symptoms If you can stay calm and consistently add to your skills in this area, I'm sure it will help you achieve your goal. You can do this if you stay focused and keep a good attitude. I have found that to be so important to recovery. Many SSRI's and SSNRI's over 20 years. Zoloft for 7 years followed by Effexor, Lexapro, Prozac, Cymbalta, Celexa, Pristiq, Valdoxan, Mianserin and more - on and off. No tapering. I was under a lot of family pressure. I was very depressed, and couldn’t get out of bed. . Now I am completely unstabilized. I can’t sleep, I am anxious and.A mess. I got hyper. Can I just stop it? Do I start taking the 6 beads of effexor again. It’s only 4 days. Please help. I asked the psychiatrist for help and do not trust whatever he is going to say. Please don’t tell me to get lost, lecture, or abandon me. I need real help now. From people who know what they’re doing. I’m really desperate. I’ m wondering if I have to take it today. All you need is already here, on your thread. There is nothing new that we can add. 20 years on Paxil starting at 20mg and working up to 40mg. Sept 2011 started 10% every 6 weeks taper (2.5% every week for 4 weeks then hold for 2 additional weeks), currently at 7.9mg. Oct 2011 CTed 15oz vodka a night, to only drinking 2 beers most nights, totally sober Feb 2013. Since I wrote this I have continued to decrease my dose by 10% every 6 weeks (2.5% every week for 4 weeks and then hold for an additional 2 weeks). I added in an extra 6 week hold when I hit 10mg to let things settle out even more. When I hit 3mgpw it became hard to split the drop into 4 parts so I switched to dropping 1mgpw (pill weight) every week for 3 weeks and then holding for another 3 weeks. The 3 + 3 schedule turned out to be too harsh so I cut back to dropping 1mgpw every 4 weeks which is working better. Final Dose 0.016mg. I did stop a med after a few days when I had a bad reaction, but that was before this wd mess. Seems like you may have to stop and ride it out. I hope somebody will give you advice on this one. Take care Well, I did stop it today. I way overreacted to it. It was bad. It was too many mg. I knew it was probably.a bad idea. I think I’m okay without it. I wanted to get something that would help the depression then taper down from it. My family is really pressuring me. Was stable until 2017 2017 Trazadone 50 mg (June) Effexor to 113 mg (2 weeks) Effexor 150 mg for a month . Took 75 mg until November. . Lithium 10 days, Lamactil 10 day aug-nov15 ativan October : Prozac bridge to get off 75 mg of effexor Used 10 mg of prozac. HI DBNO ,you could be in a serious anxiety spiral[health] ,the one thing we need to remember is the mods are living this also and living lives ,patience can ware thin at the best of times so no one is directing anything about you personally .everyone is only human .what's your doctors advice on this latest issue ,there the only ones legally that can direct you . Everyone was telling me to get off the beads. I’m really badly depressed now. I’m really suicidal now. I have been the whole time. You’re right. I’m done. (total Lexapro taper was 4 years-started with pill form) ---CURRENT MEDICATIONS:Supplements:Milk Thistle, Metamucil, Magnesium Citrate, Vitamin D3, Levothyroxine 25mcg, Vitamin C, Krill oil.
