GGGG
I have a week back on sam e after trying to taper off every 2 days then every 3 days which did not go well. I take 100 mg the morning and 100 mg in the evening. I still feel upper stomach pain and nausea. I checked sept 2021 and I had gastritis. 2 months ago I did blood work and no h pylori. Its the tension and anxiety that causes the stimach issues. I tried taking food enzymes yesterday again and I think it made it worse. I took liquid calphinite in the am after eating. It contains calcium, iron, and 20 mg of magnesium. Administrator Altostrata Posted March 16, 2023 Administrator Share Posted March 16, 2023 Before you start any supplement or drug, perhaps you might review its adverse effects and see if they might aggravate your sensitive gut. SAM-e is very well known for causing digestive upset. Up to you if you want to go off faster. You'll have to figure if the gut distress outweighs whatever withdrawal effects you might get. Administrator Altostrata Posted May 22, 2023 Administrator Share Posted May 22, 2023 I'm sorry you've experienced that. Unfortunately, we don't know anything about migraines or gastritis so can't offer peer support for them. This is not medical advice. Chompoo
@GGGG are you having allergic symptoms now like hives, running nose, watery eyes etc? Are you eating any of the following - strawberries, tomatoes, spinach, avocado, bannana, bacon, ham, canned tuna, canned beans, citrus fruits, chocolate etc. If your answer is yes to both questions, some of your symptoms could be due to histamine issues. In that case, you need to go on a los histamine diet.https://www.histaminintoleranz.ch/downloads/SIGHI-Leaflet_HistamineEliminationDiet.pdf 1 Jan 29, 2023 - Took my one and only dose of Mirtazapine (15 mg). Developed an immediate adverse reaction with list of withdrawal-like symptoms. Link to comment
