But becoming addicted to lorazepam or diazepam will bring you much deeper in trouble. If you want to get off this benzodiazepines you might have more problems than now. But you say that you are not sleeping right now. Stopping Lorazepam will not put you suddenly in sleep. I just say that continuing with lorazepam will create another problem next to the one you have! I kNOW tHAT IM IN A WD, But everytime when i took that disgusting pill my Heart beginns to race. Thats not WD, thats Mirtazapin. P.S.: THe LORAZEPAM SAVEd MY LIFE. As often said, you have to decide if you want to stop. Only you can decide. Not your doctor and not we. If you want to stop mirtazapine, I advice you not to stop in 1 time, but to taper it. I do not want to frighten you, but I want to be honest and reasonable with you: You say you are having heavy WD symptoms. Probably from ALL drug changes you made last months. Ask your doctor for 0,5mg tablets Lorazepam. In that way it is easier to follow the tapering schedule. When you are off the Lorazepam, I advise you to hold for a few week. And then start tapering the mirtazapine. You are on a low dose of Mirtazapine (only 5mg) and you have been taking it for a bit more than 3 months now. I do not think that you would have sudden adverse reaction of it. Or did you have these heart racings before also? As said these heart racings and also heart palpitations are often seen when in WD. Since you have been taking/changing and stopping so many drugs it cannot be said what is causing this. Since when do you have the effect of heart racings after taking the mirtazapine? I notice that you are seeing the worst possible situations. Whereas most people heal much faster as you describe. Yes, it may take time. Nobody knows how much time it will take I do know however that an addiction on lorazepam would mean that you get deeper in trouble. Since you are still quite safe since you did not use it much longer than a month in a row (after stopping it 1 month) it would be most clever to taper the lorazepam off as soon as possible. Than after a few weeks you might start tapering Mirtazapine. I am not saying it will be a smooth ride. Nobody knows. You are already in withdrawal of a combination of many psychotropic meds. So yes, I advise you to do it slowly and careful. A positive attitude, like believing that you will succeed will be a very big help. 1993 Anafranil (Clomipramine) for a few months. Later in 1993 Paxil for a few months 1993- 2006 No medication 2006 Effexor, Cymbalta, some Benzo’s. All for short periods. Later in 2006 Lexapro (escitalopram) 10 mg and shortly after Wellbutrin XR 150mg, against side effects Lexapro Since 2006 until end of 2015: Several times on and off Lexapro and Wellbutrin and several slight dosage changes. Mostly taken dosages: 5mg Lexapro and 150mg Wellbutrin 2016 Dosage change Lexapro from 5mg to 2,5 mg. Wellbutrin stayed om 150mg November 2016 – April 2017 Down from 2,5mg to 0,6mg Lexapro (in steps) without much problems. Wellbutrin down from 150mg to 66mg. Also without much problems. I dont think that IT will Go better in a Short time. A human who Had pain every day and night has perhaps problems to think positive. And with brainzaps and Bass in the head + Akathisia with pacing around im Not able to meditate or anything Like recommend. This is very Kind from you, but i think there ist a Point who some people Not can Put in someone who is disabled Like this.... There ist another Problem: im Not able to go in the Market for buying food, im Not able to cook. But IT IS important to make a diet of Low histamine and slowly cooked vegetables. Im lost 20 pounds, i have heavy underweight. I dont know how to do that all. Link to comment

And we suggested what you can do. As often said, only you can decide what you do. Do you have family, friends a husband or boyfriend or other people who can help you? It is always best to do what needs to be done. And I suggested before that you find yourself a good psychologist to help you in this process. A good one can help you to deal with the withdrawal symptoms and help you to change your thoughts. I fOUND I FAMOuS DOCTor who wrote a book about IT "die Antidepressiva Lüge". The anxiety cames from WD, i say everytime its only the WD, Not me. But this needle feeling from Mirtazapin and heart racing is Something that i cant influence.... I was so Happy that i would cry since IT we're 4 or 5 days without sleep. I think we have another Dimension of WD 😕 Greetings Link to comment
