And i feels Like burning This may be a common withdrawal symptom. Many members here have the same (me too). It is probably paresthesia. This will get less and less over time. It may have to do with the Mirtazapine, but it can also be a withdrawal symptom of one or more of the meds you have been taking. Since WD symptoms often show up months after a med change, no one can tell which med is causing this you when one has made several meds changes in the last few months. It will heal. It is not a nice feeling, I know. But it will disappear in time. I experience it already for 6 months now, and it slowly gets less. It is very important for us to have the correct information because if we get it wrong you could have a much worse reaction than you are currently experiencing, and neither of us wants that to happen. I know it can be very frustrating but please help us to help you. There can be a big difference between a "racing heart" and an "elevated heart beat". An elevated heartbeat, up to about 120bpm is quite common during ADWD and is generally nothing to be concerned about. If left alone it will resolve and calm itself. If concentrated on it can lead to a panic attack, cause a true "racing heart" with a much higher bpm and trigger a wave. The timing of your elevated heart beat indicates that you are having a small adverse reaction to the medication. We need more information on how you are reacting to the dose, what you may be eating at the time, time of day, size of dose and any symptoms that are present before and after the elevated heart beat is noticed. If we have the whole history of the problem, then maybe we can find a pattern that will tell us what is happening so we can make some suggestions as to what to do. 20 years on Paxil starting at 20mg and working up to 40mg. Sept 2011 started 10% every 6 weeks taper (2.5% every week for 4 weeks then hold for 2 additional weeks), currently at 7.9mg. Oct 2011 CTed 15oz vodka a night, to only drinking 2 beers most nights, totally sober Feb 2013. Since I wrote this I have continued to decrease my dose by 10% every 6 weeks (2.5% every week for 4 weeks and then hold for an additional 2 weeks). I added in an extra 6 week hold when I hit 10mg to let things settle out even more. When I hit 3mgpw it became hard to split the drop into 4 parts so I switched to dropping 1mgpw (pill weight) every week for 3 weeks and then holding for another 3 weeks. The 3 + 3 schedule turned out to be too harsh so I cut back to dropping 1mgpw every 4 weeks which is working better. Final Dose 0.016mg. Its getting worster when im eating carbs, but my Problem ist that im so skinny that i cant live from fruits and vegetables. When i eat Something healthy, then i have to go directly to the toilet. The Second Problem is that im not able to cook at the moment so i have to eat what the Family eats... Because the mother of mY Boyfriend ist cooking for me.... My liver values are Bad for the First one and i dont know why. .. idont drink or drank alcohol... Then i have a permanently Bass in my head who makes me crazy. Does he mean to give a very small dosage to try and stop withdrawals symptoms? Or does he mean taking a full dose of a SSRI? If IT works WE can take a Higher dosis HE SAID TO THAT I CAN CHOOSe HOW FASt TaPErING Lorazepam... But when i have the another withdrawal Symptoms then i go berserk. I dont cant endure IT for a longer time. This is no Option. I cant No more. What do you mean with kindling? I ONLY WANT TO SLEeP. Nothing else Link to comment

If you would reinstate prozac at a very small dosage, I would taper off the mirtazapine. Discuss it with your doctor! Kindling is an effect that often occurs after several psychotropic drug changes. The more often we stop, go up and down in dosage, or change these meds, the more sensitized our nervous system may become. Reinstating at a "normal" or too high dosage may result in heavy symptoms. Also the drugs often do not give the "positive" results anymore as they did before making all these changes. What does this doctor say about your liver? But im unable to reduce the Lorazepam because WD symptoms are so horrible that IT would kill me... The Akathisia pacing has gone since i take it. Idont know what to do but i cant reduce it because it would kill me.... I will reduce Mirtazapin, but Not for 4 years which would IT take. I cant do that for so long because the state of beeing on Mirtazapin is too horrible. Sorry, but im at the end 😓😓😓😓 Link to comment

Sorry, I really do not know what to say anymore. One moment you say you want to taper, then suddenly you don't.... We cannot decide for you what to do. I understand you started to take 2 mg citalopram, so you adding another med to your impressive list of meds of this year. It might work for the WD symptoms you have, but you need at least 2 weeks to be sure. It can be an alternative as reinstatement for the prozac WD symptoms... But nobody can tell you if this will work and how long it may take. We all react different. What I do know however, is the more changes one makes when in withdrawal, the more risk on symptoms. And when you are changing more than 1 med, nobody can tell where the changes in symptoms come from. What does your doctor say? If I were you I would taper either the mitazapine or the lorazepam. When I would taper the mirtazapine I would do that now while crossing over to the LOW dosage of citalopram. I would not increase the 2mg citalopram because of the risk of kindling. But I would want to taper the lorazapam also.I told you several times that you are risking a dependance (addiction) on lorazepam the longer you take it. So it is a dilemma.
