@Belajazi if you are experiencing tolerance from the Klonopin, it would be the first drug to taper. You will need to get it in liquid form or make a liquid if that is do-able. Have you researched on here whether you can make it into a homemade solution?

Like changing to any liquid from it should be done slowly. Research it on here.

Whether it is tolerance or a reaction the rate of taper remains the same and also stability is important. 

You are still in an unstable position and this needs more time.

@LostInCanada from a week my terror subsides, now i have extreme chemical anxiety i know which is because of trauma.

10 am  wake up 

12 am house chores and breakfast 

2 pm take some rest 

3 pm trying to spent time with neighbors children 

4 pm house chores and head pressure start which last till next morning 

7pm 0.5mg k 

10 pm feel horrible 

11 pm paxil

1 am symptoms worses 100 times then pregabalin then feel soke relaxation 

Idk i am experiencing windows or feel good at morning because both drug kolonopin and paxil wear off. 

If i taper Benzo then i should hold paxil tapering???

Yes. Usually the most activating drug gets tapered first. This is why patterns need to be established and the symptoms read correctly. It would be better if the drugs were not taken so close together. Paxil reaches it's peak 6 hours after taking it .

@LostInCanada that's mean if i takes paxil at 11pm then it effect start at around 6-7am.

@LotusRising @LostInCanada i really need both your help and suggestions. From one week, i am  feeling horrible after two hours of taking colanzepam 0.5mg like my heart beat increases,extreme head pressure,extreme restlessness, anxiety and rls. Its is more than tolerance. I only feel good from morning till 6pm. 

What should i do now??  

I never feel sedation after taking b3nzo nor it calm my anxiety, now it feels like paradoxical.

@LostInCanada i did some youtube search. Yes i can make water sol. If you suggest me then i can discus about it with psychiatricist. 

Yes i can do water tapering. 

By taking 300ml water and by removing 1ml every day then next 2ml then 3ml so on....it will be 300 day taper plan. 

I am very afraid, i do not want to repeat any mistake 😔 i am already in hell

This is not recommended. A 10% reduction of current dose per month is still the recommended plan. 

 

We will wait on @LotusRising to recommend. She has experience with benzos.

 

I still don't think you are in a very stable place to start a taper. Even switching to a liquid solution of Klonopin could cause problems at this point. Let's see what LotusRising will say.

@LostInCanada i know you are definitely right.now my terror is partially subsides after two torturous months. Now i can do house chores before 6pm .still my brain need rest from furthur changes but benzo kiling me day by day. Now i notice that from previous 3-4 months i never feel sedation after taking benzo or it did help me for anxiety

@Belajazi I do think switching to liquid Klonopin is the next step. I just don't think your system can handle it yet. It's hard. I hate being stuck as well  but trying to make the best of it is all we can do. ♥️

@LostInCanada thank you so much. You know i may be not alive if if i did not joined SA.  I did not knew anythings about tolerance withdrawals etc before joining SA.

I have windows from terror which is a big relief for me. 

But still have chemical anxiety. Right now i am continously moving my legs because of restlessness. I am totally stuck between ssri and b3nzo.

Why do you think it's paradoxical? 

 

You mentioned that the terror finally subsided and now your symptoms are changing. This could mean that your body is still fighting for stability and you're experiencing small windows. I can't say for sure, but I do think @LostInCanada is right about not being stable enough to start tapering. I'm also not convinced that the klonopin is the cause of your symptoms, but perhaps if you provide a few days worth of notes, it will help to determine a pattern. Are you able to do that for us?

 

And why do you want to switch to liquid k?

@LotusRising  yes these are completely new symptoms. Before that my night was used to good. Now nights are horrible after 6-7pm.

Because i was already in tolerance i did never feel sedation or calming effect. Infact from one week i clearly noticing that after taking b3nzo's i feel extremely restlessness, anxiety etc which become more worse after taking paxil sol.

Yes definitely i will keep you both update daily about my symptoms. Infact i myself want to take right decision. 

What do you think my Pattern of symptoms are charging??  

In prevoius two month i was totally bedbound, was Struggling for life with 24/7 akathisia.which subsides thanks GOD. 

Pattern of symptoms are totally fipped. 

Now morning are Peacefull and night are totally horrible 

No no i don't want to switch liquid k, i was just asking in case of future tapering. @LostInCanada

I think it sounds like your body is still trying to stabilize and you're in a windows and waves pattern. I'm hesitant to point a finger at the klonopin since tolerance develops over time, it's not like a switch. Paradoxical, maybe? But I wouldn't want to to jump to any conclusions.

@LotusRising Since 10 feb 2024.i was on constant torture from two months 24/7 akathisia ,terror. Except last two weeks. I am not completely fine but now i have half good day now. 

 

=>I want to tell you one thing in 2021 i was on xanax 0.5mg for a year then cold turkey. 

In 2023 after whole year of xanax ct one days because of high bp my gp prescribe me two day dose of xanax 0.5mg for sleep. After taking xanax immediately mini seizures, whole body shakes had started. Then they immediately gave me dexamethasone shot. 

After a month my bp was not stabilizing ( beacause of mom condition) psy had prescribed me prozac then after three i was hitted with S akathisia then polydruged. Then on YouTube i heard about SA. And immediately join. Because i knew that drug making my condition bad day by day. @LostInCanada

@LotusRising i had started 0.5mg kolonopin and paxil 12.5mg at same day. First Three days was fine, my S akathisia(pacing with terror)  from prevoius ssri reaction had subsided within a day, but Unfortunately at after three to four days my internal akathisia started (not mentall) i was not suicidal,but i was crying whole day and said  to my parents something is wrong i feel very restless because of internal agitation, it was like bruning acid runing in my very part of body, my body will explode.this agitation went to roof when my psychiatricist updose paxil from 12.5 to 25mg. I'm sure you've already said this, but I want to clarify - Did all your symptoms start when you initiated medication in July 2023? Did they get worse, or stay the same when you started paxil and klonopin?

@LotusRising never, i think just for few days when i had cutt my pill 1/4.

No they were change significantly from mentall to physical .but before paxil i had windows every day evening windows without any drug,morning for me was very S. When i take paxil it feels like i am taking poison. With paxil the agitation was highly suicidal, which partially reduced at current lowest dose.

Did your symptoms get better, or worse, or did they just change when you started paxil/klonopin?

 

You mention windows - were you in a pattern of waves and windows from discontinuing paxil/xanax in 2021, or what do you mean by that?

 @LotusRising Oh sorry you were asking about 2021 ,then i was totally fine. Even more better then on Paxil. In 2021 i had zero withdrawals after ct. In above thread i was mentioning about my experience of in paxil in 2023

After reading back through your posts, I think it makes sense to continue holding.

 

I understand wanting to make changes, but I think your body is still fighting to stabilize. The windows and waves pattern you're experiencing is likely related to the big cuts you made in both October and then December, followed by the intermittent dosing. 

 

I think you need to give it more time.

 

It might still help to review your notes for a few days though, if you're up for that?

@LotusRising thank you.  ok i will wait more . i think it will be best if you read my thread and then suggest me for next step. 

One thing is certain, my aka was started after few pill. How long i wait it can never heal untill i complete my taper.

2021-2021 dec : 0.5mg xanax and 12.5mg paxil cr CT with zero withdrawals 

 

2022: no medication just Occasional propanolol because of trachychardia 

 

2023: jan - feb was on  ivabradine 2.5mg and metoprolol 25mg because of sinus trachychardia then ct after two month. One dose xanax reacted badly mini seizures, uncontrollable movements immediate dexamethasone shot. 

  

July 2023: prozac and olanzapine 5mg 1/4 immediate akathisia

 

July 2023: zoloft and olanzapine akathisia gone but after 25-20 days extreme delusional, paranoid thoughts, ocd, panic attack both drugs cold turkey. After few days intense suicidal akathisia had started. Pacing pacing terror. Occasional b3nzo 

 

August 2023 : one lexapro dose full bloom akathisia.vomiting,muscles vibrations, Throat choking, diarrhea ( serotonin syndrome??) Continues till 15 august

 

15 August 2023: paxil Cr 12.5mg And kolonopin 0.5mg 

After three days my mental (terror)  aka totally convert into physical (restlessness, wanted to rip out of skin) With intense throat choking and internal vibrations 

 

Sep or October : 1/4 of paxil immediately inner aka partially reduced 

 

Dec 2023: Tried ct two weeks was awesome feeling like oldself was very happy then after two weeks whole body uncontrollable shaking immediate reinstaint immediate symptoms resolve but aka again come back

 

Jan 2024: on dr taper plan i started taking paxil cr 3mg alternatives day for 15 days then gap of two days for 20 days and crash with withdrawals 

 

On feb join SA: asked to take regular doses 

 

10-feb-2024: swtich to home-made paxil ir solution.

Immediately symptoms flipped from physical akathisia to mental( terror)

Whole two Months was torturous. Still 100 symptoms. 

 

Akathisia never leave during these period of time

The protocol remains the same, the advice the same. You have had improvement. Please work on patience and allow your body time. This is not a quick process. Your body has been put through so many drugs in such a short period.

@LostInCanada oh you misunderstood me. I just make a summary of drug history for you both convenient. I know its not a quick process therefore i am patiently endure this beast (akathisia) from almost 10 months.

I think you have misunderstood me. Post for the next couple weeks daily hourly notes. The times from rising to sleep, when you take each drug, symptoms each hour.

It has only been 2.5 months since you started the liquid solution. It could take up to 6 months before stabilizing from that change alone.

 10am : wake up with cortisole spike and sever trachychardia 

11 am : at rest because of trachychardia. 

1 pm: breakfast, severe restlessness and anxiety continues

7 pm : kolonopin 

8pm anxiety and extreme restlessness with mild pacing

9 pm: extreme head pressure, mild terror, restlessness, trachychardia 

Continue 

11 pm: paxil 

1 am : horrible symptoms again

Extreme headache, restlessness, mild terror,heightened anxiety 

4pm: sleep
