One thing i wanted to tell you that, i have notice one strange thing  ,that from yesterday i have same internal akathisia, that was present when i frist took paxil, i mean same pattern of akathisia, before switching to sol, 

But before switching, i had windows, but now i have few hours window very often, not every day.

As you know paxil gave me akathisia,from the first day when i took it, but then i was unaware of akathisia, i was continuously telling my doctor that i have weired unbearable internal agitation but he did not believe me, and i was taking paxil continously with akathisia, with unbearable pain, no one was believed me, 

I am tapering paxil which is cause of my akathisia, should i take cogentin?? So that i can prevent my brain from further damage. 

I don't know how long paxil take to taper, but i want to wean off as soon as possible, but not faster taper. 

I am taking paxil from prevoius six months. 

Should i taper pregabalin(100mg) slowly slowly with paxil???

Do not start taking other drugs to try and cover up the symptoms you are experiencing. It will just cause you much more trouble.

 

It is going to take a long time to taper off of the paxil. But it must be done slowly and carefully. I would not taper faster than the recommended 10% a month. Possibly even slower. The half-life of a 10%/month taper is 6 months. Meaning that your dose is cut in half every 6 months.

 

All the symptoms you are describing are quite common while tapering. There is nothing that can be done but learn to live with them when they are present. Acceptance and coping are the keys.

@Belajazi if there was anything that worked that didn't cause other problems, it would already have been suggested. Cogentin is an anticholinergic drug, so is paxil. 

As I have said before, we do not recommend adding any other drug. Your body is already struggling to straighten out the mess it has been put in with the numerous drugs you have tried. 

It is not recommended to taper 2 drugs at once. You will set yourself up for failure. 

Time is what your body needs on a consistent stable dose. Nothing can change that.

@Belajazi did you get a scale? Honestly if you feel you are stabilizing on the liquid you should stay put. This is why it is so important not to react quickly but give things time. Every change causes stress. Only you can decide.

@LostInCanada no i am trying to arrange, i will arrange within two weeks. Till then i will track my symptoms more, which i am doing,  than if i feel i can't handle withdrawals anymore then i will switch to pill.

Belajazi, Paxil is a stimulating drug and pregabalin is not. Therefore, unless your body does not tolerate the pregabalin, which I think is not the case, I would start by tapering what is causing akathisia AND is stimulating on top of that, paxil.

i have talk to pharmacy, they can make tablet powder of desire weigh into sachets. 

I am not stablizing on homemade liquid, today is whole month complete on home-liquid. I am very afriad switching back to pill powder can make me more destabilize @brassmonkey how many chances are, if i switch back to pill powder, it will resolve my severe symptoms?? 

One thing more pharmacists also told me that they can make dilute powder from both coated bill and non coated pill. 

If switching back to pill after whole month on sol,  will be safe, according to your experience, then i will order. 

Second question should i order for coated pill or non coated pill. 

Should i order for 30 sachets???

I mailed to mark Horowitz last week, he replied me, he said to me wean off every medicine slowly as soon as possible,especially paxil. He also said to me ask for further queries if i want. 

what i should ask him???

Exactly, this is what we have been saying. Paxil first, slowly, once stable. If you try to taper without stability it will be like how you felt when you cold turkeyed.

It is not necessary to ask him anything. This site has the same protocols.

No one can predict this but it might help.

I would think non coated pills grind better for more equal distribution. Is this correct  @brassmonkey? Use the same manufacturer either way.

@LostInCanada i don't know how i will able to stable, because my symptoms are from adverse reaction.

Go with the non-coated pills. All the coating will do is get in the way. I would start with 30. but would expect to renew it several times. Stabilizing from an adverse reaction is a long slow process, stabilizing from not being able to tolerate a liquid is a long slow process. It will probably take several months for things to settle down, possibly even longer.

@LostInCanada Severe hyperreflexia, muscles twitches, extreme terror. 

I was reacted very badly to every srri, i don't know why sometimes my gut said, i have adverse reaction and serotonin syndrome

@Belajazi what happened when you cold turkeyed in December? When you took paxil for a year what reaction did you have? Your system has been stressed so badly from all the drug changes. Hopefully you will get some stability soon. It is not uncommon to have varying symptoms during WD. You just need time.

Don't overthink it. You will get a scale or you will keep doing the liquid. Each day you are closer to stability no matter what. You will heal. Just hopefully getting the 1mg pill will make stability come faster.

@LostInCanada i was very upset because of my mother. My doctor is out of country. 

i have constant terror.i am trying to keep patience because of my mother i do not want she takes stress. I am on sol from 8 weeks, twitches, vibrations, shakiness resolve but terror is horrible. 

When my dr came back and immediately try to visit him. But i am very nervous, after months switching back to pill be right decision. No one know what happens after switching.

@Belajazi I am glad to hear things are getting better. Personally I would stick to your homemade solution and not make any changes.

Is the terror all day or just at night or when exactly? 

Can you soothe yourself by repeating positive phrases "this too will pass" "I am safe" "I am strong" "my body is just overreacting " "I have come so far" etc

Are you able to do some deep breathing? Does lavender tea help? Can you try magnesium bisglycinate or threonate?

@LostInCanada i would also prefer to stick with sol. Because switching back to pill will be a risk. 

i often do deep breathing. 

Yes i am taking lavender,jujube and black cardamom tea. 

Terror mostly 24/7 .

I have order magnesium glycinate which will receive with in few days

@Belajazi I do get terror but not regularly. I try and tell myself  that 'this is the drug. It is not rational. That whatever happens I will be strong enough to get through it. Others have been in worse circumstances and have survived and thrived. I can too. Relax, breathe, stop tensing.'

Does anything like that help? You will be okay. This recent healing has proved it. You are strong. I know you are facing alot with your mom. There is a beautiful Bible scripture at Revelation 21:3,4 that gives us hope. ♥️

I am taking only three dose from sol.

@Belajazi yes you can take up to 4 doses if the first dose is right after you make it and then the next 3 doses the following 3 days. It is not stable in water so you don't want to go past that time frame.
