Belajazi: My paxil adverse reaction and tapering

@Belajazi milk won't dissolve it any better. I experimented with dissolving pills myself. Do you have any extra to waste? One manufacturer I had used a filler that didn't dissolve and neither did the coating. The manufacturer I use now does. Paroxetine is water soluble so the drug should be dissolving and dispersing evenly.

@Belajazi no, I meant extra full pills to waste on experimenting. Trying to let it dissolve longer at room temperature or trying with more water etc . How long do you let the mix sit at room temperature before refrigeration?

Not a single pill has been lost yet .After 20 minutes i put the solution in refrigerator.

I don't think you are understanding. If you have extra pills that you do not need, doing experiments with them might help you figure out that more water or longer dissolve times before refrigeration might help. These would be throw away solutions but for testing purposes.

Yes i have extra pills . And i will test either more water or longer dissolve time more beneficial

So it looks like flour once you have finished crushing it? I know some of my coating doesn't break up into fine particles, but the rest does.

@Emonda yes its look like flour.

one thing i am noticing sometimes my akathisia become worse after taking solution.

Like yesterday after 11pm my akathisia became calm 

But today after taking my dose my akathisia became worse. 

Paxil giving me akathisia since day one

I hope so when paxil wear off this akathisia will calm

Now this time i have extreme body ache and internal akathisia

Definitely check out the above links but I believe it means that your symptoms are not fluctuating too much that you reached some sort of baseline.

Paxil is the hardest of the ADs to taper. It must be done slowly and carefully, and even then, it can cause extreme symptoms. Everything you are describing is typical of paxil WD. There is no silver bullet, all the symptoms need to be lived with,  accepted, and worked around. Paxil WD is a long and miserable process.

 

From a quick read of your thread and signature it appears that there have been a lot of skipped doses, dose changes and drug changes in the last year. This leads to greater instability and increased symptoms. From what I can see you need to stay put, make no changes at all for at least three months, possibly even more. Then, when you have stabilized you can start a slow 10% taper, and we can see how you handle it.

I had extreme agitation and internal restlessness but not terror. 

Now after swtiching to paxil solution now i have extreme internal terror .

What should i do now???

I want some suggestions i have depression and GAD  according to psychiatrist since childhood 

Depression always remaining part of my life.

I think i am always misdiagnose

Does anxiety makes someone suicidal or self harm behaviour??? 

In july 2023 i had taken medication for depression and mild feeling of excess energy. 

But my depression is mild with severe anhedhonia but life was going. 

I am very confuse should i take medication for depression and its withdrawals worsening my depression or relapse depression or benzo worsning my depression. But i can't taper benzo because i can't handle withdrawals from Both paxil and benzo

If anyone answer these questions i will be a huge favour

They want to label everything. It keeps them employed. Life is hard and there are good reasons to have these feelings. Accepting them and figuring out non drug methods to cope are what works. You also have pmdd which might be the cause of the other issues.

@LostInCanada no i do not want to take further medication , i am confused that my depression and anxiety is from withdrawals or relapse. 

because in 2018 when first anxiety /depression  episode hit i became S due to restlessness. In 2018 i first time i was prescribed ad.

I just want to ask that i shift kolonopin at day time beacuse it help me in bearing withdrawals. Does there are chances it can  cause problem??

The reason for moving paxil forward to the morning is to prevent interdose WD in the day due to the short half life. I have given you advice based on the information you have given me. Until the paroxetine is moved to morning for at least a month I would suggest NO changes.

No, this has already been explained. It was advised to move paxil 1 hour ahead each day till the recommended time.

If you keep randomly adjusting drug times it is impossible to know what is going on. This also makes it impossible for your body to adjust. 

Symptoms you are having can be because of things you have done days, weeks or months ago. These drugs cause long term issues. Staying consistent is the only way.

@LostInCanada i wanted to do that but my mother had to hospitalized thats why i can not move paxil to morning 

now i am at home and will definitely move paxil to morning .

@Belajazi I suggest you look through the success stories to find the answer. Please try to learn how to navigate the site to find answers to non emergency questions. The amount of volunteers is small and they have numerous individuals needing help. Limiting tags makes their job more manageable.

I have this alot. Usually from 3am to 8am. The timing makes me think it is a cortisol rush. Try any supplement with caution. Do not try more than one at a time. If you try it I would not try anything else for at least 2 weeks. There is a section under Self care on supplements. You can also put 'holy basil' in quotation marks in the search and see what others have found.

How i know that now i am stable??  When akathisia/terror become fade?? 

I have severe inner akathisia from 3pm to 7pm i am taking kolonopin at 3pm but it lift ony 5% terror

I have one question lexapro gave me akathisia, paxil lift the terror but gave me extreme unbearable agitation until now when i switch to paxil solution agitation totally gone but terror/restlessness start,its mean paxil was masking terror/akathisia/panic attack??  Or it is from paxil withdrawals?? How many chances when i fully taper paxil my akathisia will return??? 

I hope i am not bothering you all.

Every day keep a list of symptoms and mark them 1 to 10. 10 being the worst. After a month you can see what has been improving. Stable means feeling as close to normal as possible. If you are experiencing WD symptoms and start to taper, it will get worse. It will take at least 1-3 months to figure out what your WD normal/stable is. Your body is trying to adjust which takes time.
