@LostInCanada now a days internal akathisia is very mild. I am afraid of S but still having S thoughts on which i have no control. 

 

I don,t know it is worsening of my depression due taruma 

 

Now a days i am struggling with myself on the other hand i have to take care of my mom (suffered from mets cancer)

SI is part of the withdrawal. Have you been able to get a syringe and paxil IR? Getting stable will hopefully help with some of these withdrawal issues.

You have alot dealing with your mom. Just be kind to yourself as well.

@LostInCanada  on friday i have appointment with my psychiatrist i hope on friday paxil ir will be arrange .

I also think that when i became stable on daily doses then these symptoms will subsides.

Dose gap withdrawal are hell.

That will be good. It would probably be best to be selective in telling him what you are feeling since he pushes drugs and wants to hospitalize you. Taking control of your own care is the best thing to do.

@LostInCanada yes i will do the same.He is unaware of withdrawal he continously denying that ssri can cause akathisia and PAWs.

i will talk to him very carefully .

The advice given by your doc in the original post was not sound. My docs gave me equally unsound advice about Paxil. Since then I've spoken to pharmacists who tell me Paxil is one of the worst drugs to come off of. The advice here is a collection of many people across many countries, from people that have lived through withdrawal. Now off Paxil I still have withdrawals tho not as bad and it is expected to last for months. Recently the top of my neck tightened so severely I couldn't move. Yet another withdrawal from Paxil. I bridged onto Prozac for 5 days so I could end Paxil because my body hit a wall at 5 mg paxil. Personally I think the drug is criminal and should be taken off the market. Docs and big pharma are cooperating in this to get everyone hooked on it. 

I first went to liquid and then a slow taper for one year, still I hit a wall and after losing 30 lbs, 9 in one month I couldn't go further in this manner. I believe it would have killed me and I'm not imagining this.

@jtarchin i have just took it only for 6 month. As per doctor i was skiping dose (3.125mg) every other day then after 2 days. But as i start Skiping doses 100+ withdrawals(mentally 80%) hit me.But i hope by adjusting my doses on daily bases these symptoms will subsides .on friday i will switch from. Paxil cr to paxil ir liquid. I will advice everyone who take psy drug never ever skip a single dose. Thanks for your comment.It gives me hope one day i will also free from this evil drug.

Paxil has a short half life in the body so it will kickstart the withdrawal sometimes under 24 hours. That is what I suspect was giving me such terrible symptoms. The switch to liquid happened at the same rate as the pill. It is better to taper with liquid so you can be accurate in dosage. They recommend no more than 10% reduction per month, I believe. My taper suddenly hit the wall at 5 mg, everything became severe suddenly. What I'm saying is that slower is by far better and even slowly can be unpredictable at times.

I have noticed that when i take paxil 3.125mg every  third night then next day my  internal akathisia become worse. 

Will it subsides when i wean off?

I think i should taper fast because i taper paxil because of adverse reaction. paxil give me akathisia from the first day i took

It has been explained that getting stable and consistent with your dose is more important. It is not recommended to taper more than 10% a month.

From few days i have palpitations 160/min.All beta blockers make the internal akathisia worse.what should i take for palpitations??

Heloooo @LostInCanada with in few days i have to switch paxil ir solution. One thing i forget to tell you that three month ago my doctor switch me to paxil ir from cr (kindling?)  because he thought that my internal akathisia will ease. But then after almost one month he brought back me on paxil cr again.now i am again switching to paxil ir how many chances will it cause any problem. I am just asking because i am very afraid

What time do you take your dose? Keep taking it every day at that same time once you switch to liquid. Do you have a syringe and what you need? Make sure you don't start the liquid until the usual 3rd day so not to disrupt the plasma level, then every day after that. No missed days. It will take at least a week maybe more before feeling affects. Accuracy is important. Measure the same way each time you make the solution.

I never take my medicine at particular time. Nor anyone adviced me to take at same time including my doctor 😔 i have arrange syringe. Here syringes are very cheap and poor quality but i have no choice .if i order from amazon then it will take whole month for delivery.  Tomorrow will be my 3rd day (14-2-2024) on which i have to take my dose.i am starting one mg from tomorrow if my measuring glass deliver me on time. Should (paxil cr and ir)  manufacturer be same??

You can also measure water by drawing up 10-1 ml syringe fulls for a 10 mg pill and putting it all in a jar. If you do not have a dark glass jar, you can wrap it in cloth just so light doesn't affect it.

Both Idea of transparent nail polish and jar wrapping with cloth would be best. And i will make sure manufacturer be same.why these idea didn't come into my mind. These withdrawals made me dumb

Heloooo @LostInCanadacan i make 20ml solution with 20mg paxil for perfect accuracy because  here 10mg paxil are not available??? If i cut the pill in half with pill cutter then there will be chances of error Should the jar be air tight??? 

My pill is orange tinted(paxil ir)  will it cause any problem?

My pill is hard should i crush first or just dissolve in water and wait for some time

I had mentioned this earlier. Using 20 mg is preferred for accuracy. You just have to throw out the solution after 3 days. Some crush the pill between 2 spoons. Just make sure you don't lose any powder or pill.

The colour makes no difference. Use the same manufacturer always if possible.

Do not do this. Paxil dissolves. It is 11 pm where you are. This is late to be taking this drug. I had mentioned morning is best. It takes some time for the pill to dissolve. What time do you wake in the morning regularly?

i was usually taken my pill at night (not particular time)

@Belajazi it's fine to take the paxil now but you may find it interferes with sleep. If that occurs it can slowly be moved ahead an hour each day till you take it when you rise. You might not have any issues with sleep.
