Administrator Altostrata Posted March 16, 2017 Administrator Share Posted March 16, 2017 How often are you taking Valium, cookson? That sounds like either a paradoxical reaction or rebound anxiety from a benzo. Are you also drinking? Please take a look at your behavior and see if you might be doing to something to upset your nervous system. Wouldn't it be interesting to find you feel miserable from side effects of drugs and booze? By the way, "depression" is a common side effect of benzos like Valium. This is not medical advice. IrishMonkey92
I basically cold turkey'd citalopram over the space of 4 weeks (took them for 2 years). My main symptoms didn't kick in till 5 months in after a night of drinking alcohol. Thats where my vertigo (rocking/swaying/undulating) began and I still have it now 14 months now.... anyone with this same symptom? Scared I'll be like this forever. Link to comment

Administrator Altostrata Posted August 7, 2020 Administrator Share Posted August 7, 2020 Hello, @Cookson, how are you? Elsewhere, you said you had had an immediate bad reaction to citalopram, could you explain more about that? Why did you stay on it? On 11/24/2013 at 7:12 PM, Cookson said: With me personally the immediate adverse reaction to Citalopram manifested itself as brain fog resulting in cognitive difficulties-which persists now but to a much lesser extent as before This is not medical advice.
