I don't know @Fairsome.. the antidepressant blocks serotonin reuptake sport increases dopamine serotonin for hormones it can't hurt.  Even for stress anxiety sport is very very good to practice regularly.  It's worth trying this setting goals in years.  And we'll see after we support guys I'm thinking of you!

Hello everyone, I was on seroplex 10mg in October 2019 for over a year and then on brintellix from March to September for maybe 8 months. I made several attempts to stop abruptly then I resumed the treatment of brintellix recently for a few weeks because it was too difficult to stop.
Symptom when stopped: premature ejaculation, ejaculation with less orgasm. Severe insomnia, transient headaches, sensitivity to noise and light.

My major mistake was to take this **** two times.

first time my PSSD healed after 10 months when I took it for 2 weeks. Then I took it again due to withdrawal symptoms for another 4 weeks and that time my system crashed completely. Had to stop the intake from one day to the other. Since then I struggled. I hope you guys will be faster as your system didn’t see this immense reaction.

Hey guys how are you, what's up this weekend?  Me rest because I am very tired.  I have set myself the goals of resuming sport from next week by going to the gym and jogging outside with the good weather.  I'm going to do that with a good diet and regular bedtimes for good sleep.  I will do this for 1 year.  And I will see if I see improvements or not whether mental or sexual.  Then I will advise taking something to increase serotonin because me during the antidepressant treatment everything is going well sexually and I had no shrinkage.  On the other hand, I had memory loss and I was afraid of not being able to have children and that in the long run it would have harmful effects.  And nothing says that if within some time with the sport its does not arrange the resumption of chemical or natural antidepressant (St. John's wort etc), its restores a normal sexuality.  Do you guys think, for example, that by taking an antidepressant the size of the penis will return to normal as well as premature ejaculation?  @Ben190 @Avicii

Courage well your brave and you took the treatment very little time I am sure that you will recover 100% over time and by doing things well as you do with your positive state of mind my friend

Thanks a lot :) I was so worried nothing will ever heal because my system was crashed while taking these meds. Body was shaking, dreams crazy, always immense problems with stomache. It was terrible... so I just hope that PSSD will leave finally completely and then I am back to normal life.

 

Guys I think everyone has the chance to heal...

ah and yeah I will also do more sports again. But don’t push too fast too hard, your system is sensible. So take it easy at the beginning and look how much your body is willing to give.

@Parisienlook what Ben wrote earlier. He tried to reinstate SSRI and his system collapsed. My advice to you is to never touch another drug ever again!

I agree with you and given the damage it has inflicted on us I don't want to think about it again.  I hope sport will help me.  But to arrive at a given moment if no improvement arrives it will become complicated..

I agree with @Avicii, reinstatement is a very risky move... better just let your body and nervous system heal on their own.

I agree.  Afterwards, I don't know if that's your case, but I'm 32 and I have children.  Life this life now if we don't heal after several years of withdrawal we spend next to our life hoping?  It is still a reflection to be carried out after obviously that I do not want to take this drug again after all the efforts made

Hi guys. I am so sorry for all of us. I get sexual dysfunction sometimes. I take Cymbalta 60mg. I think it is one of the culprits. I get sexual arousal when I am with my girlfriend, but it doesn't last longer. When we have sexual intercourse I  don't get climax only some. We only made love once. We want to try again. Sometimes I get so turn on but it takes me a lot to ejaculate having sexual dysfunction most of the times. Others I have some orgasm. I take abilify 2,1ml too. Abilify causes to have strong desire for sex if I am not mistaken. Can I "cheat" not taking abilify 2,1ml,Cymbalta 60mg and biperiden 4mg extended release before sex? I read that on the Internet but I don't think it will solve my problem.

Hello I hope you're fine.  As you are still on treatment, the only thing I can advise you is to stop your treatment completely and wean yourself off.  If you want to continue taking it at all costs, stopping it a few days before a report can help you because I had noticed that the treatment had effects for 2 or 3 days.  Moreover when I stop them completely I was really bad after 3 days not right away.  Guys I noticed that the veins in my erect penis were really bright red and very showy does this happen to you too?  Well do you have that?  I see in it the sign that there is a problem, maybe the day it goes away, those will be the beginning of a possible cure.  Be well guys if you have any improvements or just need to talk let me know @Ben190 @Avicii @Manny78

Manny your issues are most probably due to the large cocktail of psychiatric drugs you are taking.

I never meant to stop my Cymbalta 60 mgs completely CT or not take it for a few days. I know I will have to taper it. I meant to not take it for a few hours.

I think I understand you now,you mean that I have to taper and not skip it for a few days. Is that correct?

Hi guys, has anyone with sexual issues related to AD discontinuation do  blood tests to check you testosterone and estrogen levels? What were the results? and have you considered testastarone replacement therapy (TRT)?

2000 -2013: various antidepressants.

2013 - 2019: Lexapro 20 mg

2019 - April 2021: Lexapro 10 mg (No withdrawal)

April 2021 - March 2022: Lexapro 5 mg (No withdrawal)

2013 - April 2022: Vyvanse 50 mg

Feb. 23 - April 3, 2022: Finasteride 1mg.

March/April 2022 - Stopped Cold Turkey 

March 5,  2022 - Quit smoking CT after 30+ years

July 20, 2022 - Quit coffee.

Reinstatement:

Lexapro - July 5 - July 10, 2022: 5mg; July 11 - July 15, 2022: 10mg; July 16 - July 31: 20mg; August 1-14: 15mg; August 15 -Present: 12.5mg
