I just tried to read through your thread but brain fog is very bad today! I didn't get far 😞 Oh the dreaded insomnia! After I ceased Seroquel 300mg I experienced my worst bout of insomnia. 2 weeks no sleep. Then about 2-3 hours. Currently my sleep is ok..on average I get about 5-6 hours. I often listen to sleep meditations, calming music or a podcast. If I'm tossing and turning for too long I get up and make myself i warm milk with a little honey (sometimes a pinch of cinnamon)...this may sound strange but I'll sit at the dining table with a lit candle and stare at the flame. I find this almost hypnotic. This helps. I was reading recently about 'passive distraction'...I think it was brassmonkey. Anyway I think staring at a candle is 'passive distraction', I just didn't realise it had a name!...I just have to remember to blow out the candle before I return to bed! Thankyou for giving me hope about the pain and weakness. I'm so happy this has subsided for you. I hope you are able to reach a decision regarding the trazodone. Please don't rush it though. I'm hoping you are getting some advice from the moderators. I only reduced my Prozac by 50% because I was concerned the possibility of serotonin toxicity could reach a dangerous level and I would have to have treatment in hospital. Not somewhere I want to be. Kristine Posted February 8, 2018 Author Share Posted February 8, 2018 Update: 6th Feb 2018 Woke after 6 hours solid sleep, mild headache (glass of H2O), extreme muscle weakness and fatigue (practically bed bound),mild anxiety (tightness in chest) 7am - Fluoxetine 20mg (day 7 half dose); dexamphetamine 3.75mg; clonazepam 0.125mg 8am breakfast...yoghurt and muesli (felt hungry) 8:15 am bed...feel like I'm made of jelly. No energy 11am start to feel queasy, increasing anxiety 12 noon...lunch small chickpea salad. Everyone is on your side!!! 2001 Remeron , Celexa, prozac a week on lithium. 2014 went off effexor and trazadone in 3 weeks. 2014 zoloft (hyper reaction) put on effexor 75 mg. Was stable until 2017 2017 Trazadone 50 mg (June) Effexor to 113 mg (2 weeks) Effexor 150 mg for a month . Took 75 mg until November. . Lithium 10 days, Lamactil 10 day aug-nov15 ativan October : Prozac bridge to get off 75 mg of effexor Used 10 mg of prozac. Stopped prozac 3 wk Dec 6, 7 Upped trazadone from 50 to 100 mg Did it for 3 days Stopped it Dec 7 , Dec 8 Took prozac again 0.1 , 0.1, 0.6 stopped it Dec 11 and Dec 12 upped it to 100 again Dec 15 , 16,17 went back to 50 mg of trazadone December 18 Began 3 beads of effexor Dec 25 began 5 beads of effexor take 10 mg of omneprazole daily Link to comment

K xo Awww! 2001 Remeron , Celexa, prozac a week on lithium. 2014 went off effexor and trazadone in 3 weeks. 2014 zoloft (hyper reaction) put on effexor 75 mg. Was stable until 2017 2017 Trazadone 50 mg (June) Effexor to 113 mg (2 weeks) Effexor 150 mg for a month . Took 75 mg until November. . Lithium 10 days, Lamactil 10 day aug-nov15 ativan October : Prozac bridge to get off 75 mg of effexor Used 10 mg of prozac. Stopped prozac 3 wk Dec 6, 7 Upped trazadone from 50 to 100 mg Did it for 3 days Stopped it Dec 7 , Dec 8 Took prozac again 0.1 , 0.1, 0.6 stopped it Dec 11 and Dec 12 upped it to 100 again Dec 15 , 16,17 went back to 50 mg of trazadone December 18 Began 3 beads of effexor Dec 25 began 5 beads of effexor take 10 mg of omneprazole daily Link to comment

What I can remember: 2006- Effexor started at 75mg upped to 300mg somewhere after 2008- Switched to Cipralex started at 5mg upped to 20mg 2017- added Wellbutrin 150mg to Cipralex 20mg occasional use of Ativan 0.5mg sublingual, usually given 7-10 tabs -- (last used Nov 2017 ... previous? my mom's death probably? 2013) Cold turkey Nov 13, 2017 (used Ativan once a day when it was unbearable until Rx finished) 24 Jan. 2018 - Reinstated Cipralex 5mg 31 Jan. 2018 - started Cetirizine Hydrochloride for severe allergies due to tattoo --- stopped 24 Feb. 2018 26 Feb. 2018 - Coversyl 4mg Currently: 5mg Cipralex , 16mg Serc (for Meniere's), 4mg Coversyl (high blood pressure) Supplements: 300mg Magnesium Link to comment

My thoughts are with you. PAST Gabapentin: about 6 months in 2015, 300-900 mg, cold turkeyed Sept 2015 (at same time dc'd Klonopin) Klonopin: June 2014- Sept 2015; 1mg tapered over 6 mths, dc'd at 0.25mg, withdrawal hellish (perhaps because of concurrent dc of gabapentin) Mirtazepine: Jumped off at 2.4 mg. (stable in 8 months). Seroquel: June 14 - July 24, 2016, 25 mg alternate nights; smaller doses for shorter periods. Total use about 3 months Lamictal: March 19, 2018 - 1 mg; March 23 - 1.25 mg; April 6 - 2mg. Discontinued at 2 mgJuly 1, 2018 due to Steven Johnson Syndrome. CURRENT Supplements: Vit D, turmeric Naturethroid: 65 mcg for hypothyroidism Trazodone: Oct 2015 - June 2016; 75 mg tapered over 2 mths, intense w/d after 3 weeks. Reinstatement: 07/25/16 - 25 mg; updosed 08/03/16 - 50 mg; 10/01/16- 62mg; 03/24/17 dropped to 50 mg (stable in 2.5 months) Current psych meds: Trazodone 50 mg Link to comment

Also very bad headache. Muscular weakness and fatigue continues to be debilitating. At least the muscular spasms/walking and gait issues have gone. Just need to somehow make it to the appointment. Tried to keep my composure but unable to keep the tears back. Turns out the psyc who polydrugged me never informed her of the 14 medications he prescribed. In my original post I wrote it was over a one year period...it was in fact 10months. Anyway, long story short...she wrote a script for... Prozac 20mg Dispersible Tablets (they dissolve in water) Is anyone familiar with this form of Prozac (fluoxetine)? I don't intend on tapering for a while but wanted to get organised. For example, a few days on 3/4 original + 1/4 new, a few days on 1/2 + 1/2 then a few days on 1/4 original + 3/4 new. What I can remember: 2006- Effexor started at 75mg upped to 300mg somewhere after 2008- Switched to Cipralex started at 5mg upped to 20mg 2017- added Wellbutrin 150mg to Cipralex 20mg occasional use of Ativan 0.5mg sublingual, usually given 7-10 tabs -- (last used Nov 2017 ... previous? my mom's death probably? 2013) Cold turkey Nov 13, 2017 (used Ativan once a day when it was unbearable until Rx finished) 24 Jan. 2018 - Reinstated Cipralex 5mg 31 Jan. 2018 - started Cetirizine Hydrochloride for severe allergies due to tattoo --- stopped 24 Feb. 2018 26 Feb. 2018 - Coversyl 4mg Currently: 5mg Cipralex , 16mg Serc (for Meniere's), 4mg Coversyl (high blood pressure) Supplements: 300mg Magnesium Link to comment

Valium, Gabapentin, Lamictal, Prilosec and Zantac from 2000 to 2015 with a fast taper by a psychiatrist. Liquid Lexapro Nov, 2016 to 31-March, 2019 Lexapro free!!! (total Lexapro taper was 4 years-started with pill form) ---CURRENT MEDICATIONS:Supplements:Milk Thistle, Metamucil, Magnesium Citrate, Vitamin D3, Levothyroxine 25mcg, Vitamin C, Krill oil. Xanax 1mg 3x day June, 2000 to 19-September, 2020 Went from .150 grams (average weight of 1 Xanax) 3x day to .003 grams 3x day. April 1, 2021 went back on 1mg a day. Started tapering May 19, 2023. July 28, 2023-approximately .87mg. Dr. fast tapered me at the end and realized he messed up. Prescribe it again and I am doing "slower than a turtle" taper. 19-September, 2020 Xanax free!!! Lithium 10 days, Lamactil 10 day aug-nov15 ativan October : Prozac bridge to get off 75 mg of effexor Used 10 mg of prozac.
