Trying to work outside but the heat is getting to me. I don't think I could live in Texas! Hello @Pollyjay I don't know how you handle being outside in this heat. It takes so much out of me. We had a garage sale a few weeks ago and it took me a week to get over it. How is your son? He is in my prayers. A mommas heart never rests. Worrying about our children can take a toll on our minds, that's why we must turn in over to the Lord. Love you sweet friend, give Chlo some lovins for me! Are you on Facebook? I would love to see a picture of your farm animals. Chlo
@Altostrata @Frogie I have decided to stick with my escitalopram taper. I will do a taper tomorrow from 7.75ml to 7.5ml per your advice a while back. I would like to finish this taper before attempting the Mirtazapine taper. Chlo
@Altostrata @Frogie Being that I take Magnesium Glycinate at night with my Mirtazapine before bed, should I instead take the magnesium glycinate around noon to help with the anxiety? Moderator Frogie Posted May 27, 2022 Moderator Share Posted May 27, 2022 @Chlo You could try taking the magnesium around noon and see if it helps. I actually take 100 mg morning, noon and night. But it took a while to build up to that strength and it does help. Hope you are doing well other than that. 1 PREVIOUS medications and discontinuations: Have been on medications since 1996. Valium, Gabapentin, Lamictal, Prilosec and Zantac from 2000 to 2015 with a fast taper by a psychiatrist. Liquid Lexapro Nov, 2016 to 31-March, 2019 Lexapro free!!! (total Lexapro taper was 4 years-started with pill form) ---CURRENT MEDICATIONS:Supplements:Milk Thistle, Metamucil, Magnesium Citrate, Vitamin D3, Levothyroxine 25mcg, Vitamin C, Krill oil. Xanax 1mg 3x day June, 2000 to 19-September, 2020 Went from .150 grams (average weight of 1 Xanax) 3x day to .003 grams 3x day. April 1, 2021 went back on 1mg a day. Started tapering May 19, 2023. July 28, 2023-approximately .87mg. Dr. fast tapered me at the end and realized he messed up. Prescribe it again and I am doing "slower than a turtle" taper. 19-September, 2020 Xanax free!!! Chlo
@Altostrata@Frogie I did a taper again this passed Monday from 3.5mg to 3.25mg. I don't know if the decrease is causing me so much discomfort or what. Also Monday we through a party for my son outdoors in 90° heat, so that could be a part of it. I'm just feeling so disoriented, depression, dizziness, brain fog and frontal lobe pressure and pain. Breathlessness and fright. When I close my eyes to try and rest I feel so dizzy. Should I updose? Moderator Frogie Posted June 2, 2022 Moderator Share Posted June 2, 2022 (edited) @Chlo You can go back up to 3.5 mg since it's only been a few days. Then hold for a while before another attempt. Then maybe a 5% taper and see how you do. I can't tell you how long it will take you to stabilize because everyone is different. It can take days or unfortunately weeks. But you can try and ride it out for a little while and see how you feel. Edited June 2, 2022 by Frogie PREVIOUS medications and discontinuations: Have been on medications since 1996. Moderator Frogie Posted June 3, 2022 Moderator Share Posted June 3, 2022 @Chlo By any chance have you been exposed to covid? The only reason I ask is my "hubby" came home sick Wednesday with these symptoms and tested positive yesterday. So we are in lock down now. But being short of breath is a very normal wd symptom also. And you won't quit breathing. Just take some nice deep breaths through your nose and exhale through your mouth. And all the other symptoms you liked are also wd related too. Can you listen to some calming music or do some meditation? Take an Epson salt bath, those sometimes help. Just try to distract as much as possible. Just breath and it will pass. PREVIOUS medications and discontinuations: Have been on medications since 1996. I started a sore throat a few days ago, now just a hoarse voice and some weird pressure in front of my head. When I first started tapering rhe 5ml liquid escitalopram my homeopathic doctor prescribed me enough to last me the whole 6 week course. I am now at a taper of 3.25ml so I don't need a bottle of that quantity. So it's leaving me with excessive amount leftover. Can I still use this or is it expired or weakened? Should I throw it out and use the new script? Can I mix the two? Meditating and will try epsum salt bath. Ty🤍 Hope you are doing well today..Hugs!!
