Mezzer
@Chlo hi Chlo can I jump in and befriend you all. I think I’m in the same area of tapering and being CTed off one med prior to tapering another. Very confusing but you seem to be much better than I at documenting your journey. Hoping I’m welcome. Thanks presently tapering 5.45mgs of liquid Prozac. 23 months ago was CTed off cymbalta after a four month trial. Previously on meds for 30years. (Prozac, lexapro, Wellbutrin) 1993 started 20mg Prozac. 2008 switched to 10mg of lexapro. 2015 added 50mg of Wellbutrin. Between 2015 and 2020 raised and lowered dosage of both. 2021 moved to Zoloft for one month then back to lexapro for one month. Then switched to 60mg cymbalta for four months. Then Basically cold turkeyed off cymbalta in two weeks using Prozac as a crossover med to reduce withdrawals. Not good. Then had Nortriptylene added to Prozac. Was on 20mg Prozac and 50mg of Nortriptylene for four months. Then did a four month ween off Nortriptylene. To date have been off cymbalta for approximately 11 months and Nortriptylene 7 weeks. Presently taking 12.5 mg Prozac. Also taking 10 mg of bystolic for BLood Pressure. I’m not sure how the Prozac makes me feel. It does nothing to make me feel not sad and anxious at times. I finally figured out the meds are not what I need. What I need is to get off the 12.5mg of Prozac and continue to work on my stuff. Any help is deeply appreciated thank you. Reduced from 12.5 to 10 then from 10 to 7.5. Too much of a drop. Bought a scale and went to 9. Stabilized and went to 8.2 oct 1, 2022. Just got hit with wicked low mood, high anxiety, fatigue, chills. The anxiety is high in the AM and lessons throughout the day. Hoping to stabilize soon Link to comment

I just wish i could figure out why I'm experiencing them. Wondering if any other members go through this during withdrawal and if they subside at a certain point in their taper. I hate panic attacks with a passion. They scare me and give me chills. I try to use coping skills...but man...do they torture me. Chlo
@Greatful Hello sweetheart, I hope you are doing well. I know you and I are both at or around the same mg in tapering liquid Lexapro. I was just checking in to see how you are going with it. Also..wanted to ask you how you are decreasing your dosage. Are you doing a straight 10% at the beginning of each month, or 2.5% a week then hold for 2 on week 5and6, or are you doing .001 every 4days? And whichever way u are doing, how is it working for you? How are you functioning and what is a withdrawal normal day consist of for you? I hope you don't mind me asking...I just feel like you and I can relate 🩷 Love and God bless! Still trying to practice radical acceptance 🙃 I've decided to start micro tapering. Gonna give it a try and see if it is any easier on my nervous system. I'm currently at 1.24mg. Will drop to 1.23mg on Wednesday. (.001 every 4 days) I've joined Griefshare again, it's bringing up lots of tears from my husband and dad once again. I feel like I've pushed those feelings under the rug because of the wd being most of my focal point. I've got to deal with the loss as best as I can and the Griefshare will help me with that. The panic attacks seem to be easing up a bit...I feel they come on strong when I let the wd really get into my thoughts. I hate that I missed your interview with Angie Peacock, I'm going to go back and try to watch it. I hope you are doing well and beyond any and all wd symptoms. Myself and so many others look up to you. You are a Godsend and we love you, the mods, and mentors. I can just imagine how heart wrenching it is to deal with so much pain and suffering with all of the members. You all are lifesavers, to say the least. And the award goes to each of you. My son has a friend that lives in San Francisco, and i have a friend thats an hour from there. Sometime next year we are going to visit...it would be nice to meet you for dinner if you are up to it. Thank you for checking in on me! I am not much of a social butterfly...more like a quiet moth. I'm working on my vocals and speaking out, especially my talks with God. You take care, my friend, and have a beautiful blessed week. If you have a heart problem, you should ask about the purpose of the drug and the adverse effects before taking it, but you should get treatment. @Altostrata no ma'am, I do not have a heart problem. The night before i had some pain in the middle of my chest that woke me up. Then last night i had some sharp pains in my left armpit and side of breast, so i decided just to go to ER and get it checked out. It turned out to be just some inflammation of a muscle that I could have possibly strained picking up my chunky grandson. The doctor wanted to give me the toradol, but I refused and requested just to take Naproxen(Aleve) for the inflammation. The pain has eased up quite a bit tonight. Mezzer
@Greatful hi is it ok if I jump in and say hi? I hope you all are doing good. I could use a buddy myself. 1993 started 20mg Prozac.

Chlo
Hi y'all! I'm sorry I haven't been in here since August. I'm just floating along, trying to keep my eyes above the waves. Down to 1.12mg Lex. Still grieving the loss of my husband. It's so scary how your mind can twist everyday life, thoughts, etc. The battlefield of our mind is the worse part of wd, in my opinion. My biggest concern/worry is that I will be stuck in depression even after I've healed from the wd. And how sensitive we are to everyday triggers like our children having a bad day....my mind immediately goes to the gutter worrying about them being happy in their life. Do you ever feel like you are rubbing off on them, like making them depressed too? I am a believer in Christ, I have faith in him...I just can't help my thoughts and feelings most of the time. Even making the simplest decision causes heightened anxiety. Please tell me that once we are healed...no matter how long it may take, that the depression and anxiety will mostly be gone, I pray! Since hitting the 1.12mg mark, my symptoms have changed. Whereas I would have a decent few hours before bed, now they seem to be more intense. I've lost my appetite, nausea, tremors, and chills. I've also changed from Brassmonkeyslide of 10% to microdosing .001 every 4 days. Holding right now due to ear infection. Anyway.....I just wanted to stop in and say hello...wishing everyone a blessed week. I have a prescription of Cefdinir for it, but I'm first going to try homeopathic mullein garlic oil. My sinus cavity is dry, but when I have a heavy crying spell my noise runs really bad and I believe it's draining in my ears. That's what my homeopath said, anyway. @Altostrata Chlo❤ •Celexa 40mg 1999-2021•COVID August 2021•Celexa stopped working•Zoloft 100mg Sept21'-Oct21'•Zoloft did not work •Lexapro 10mg Oct21'-Nov21' •Lexapro did not work •Lexapro 5mg Nov21'-1/17/22 switched to Lexapro liquid form 5mg 1/18/22•4.75mg 1/19•4.5mg 1/25•4.25mg 2/1•4.0mg 2/8 •3.75mg 3/28•3.5mg 5/23 •3.25mg 5/30•3.0mg 6/19 •2.75mg 6/26•2.50mg 7/10•2.45mg 7/18•2.40mg 7/25•2.35mg 8/1•2.33mg 8/26•2.27mg 9/15•2.21mg 9/23•2.16mg 9/30•2.10mg 10/14•2.04mg 10/24•1.99mg 11/18•1.95mg 1/02/23•1.90mg 1/09•1.80mg 1/27•1.75mg 2/21•1.70mg 3/6•1.65mg3/14•1.60mg 4/07•1.52mg 4/30•1.48mg 5/07•1.40mg 6/08•1.36mg 6/17•1.32mg 6/27•1.28mg 7/17•1.20mg 8/18•1.15mg 9/13•1.12mg 10/15•1.06mg 1/20/24•1.02mg 2/16•1mg 2/27•.98mg 3/02•.96mg3/20•D3•C• •Magnesium Glycinate Zinc•Omega3•Probiotic •Mirtazapine 15mg I don't know much, but 3 things I do. Mentor Heath Posted October 17, 2023 Mentor Share Posted October 17, 2023 (edited) @Chlo I’m dealing with a sinus/ear Infection also. I been flushing sinuses, but I guess too much for sinuses to handle. I tried not to take antibiotics also but second dr visit they convinced me. It’s really dry here. Ragweed everywhere. I can’t remember ever having a sinus infection much less an ear infection. But doc said it was. The difference this year is dizziness when getting out of bed in morning. After the dizziness I decided I wasn’t going to wait it out any longer. I started the cedfinir today Get well soon !
