Thurs 27th & Fri 28th were awful. But today has been better, no terrifying thoughts. Had some minor yawning, lots of muscle tension though and panic attacks. @Altostrata So yes, I had uptick in symptoms, they are slowly going away, and they lasted 2 days. The difference from how I feel now is excessive yawning, major panic attacks, terrifying thoughts, and dizziness. Please add this information to your daily notes. It still sounds like you're taking too much escitalopram. You might reduce to 4.25mg. This is not medical advice. And have not experienced any acid reflux since August. But doing some research I've read that it's not recommended to stop abruptly. Can I get your opinion and advice on how to taper it, being I'm tapering my antidepressant, am I able to taper Omeprazol as well? Also...would it hurt if I started taking B12? I have done that before and after 2 days my stomach was absolutely horrendous, I was really dizzy and it took about 3 weeks of not eating very much and feeling really unwell before I got back to normal after I reinstated them. This time I have started lowering my dose and dropped from 20mg to 15 about 2 weeks ago. My stomach felt slightly sensitive for 2 days but no ill effects. I had omeprazole capsules so I bought empty gel capsules and I’ve prepped about 3 weeks each of 20, 15, 10, 6, and 3mg. I still have some of the balls left so I can maker smaller doses of needs be. I thought I’d strike while the iron was hot and so it while I had capsules (I usually get tablets) and figured they’d be easier to taper down from. Hope that helps x Sertraline (Lustral): 2014. I'm sure the reason behind my doctor suggesting me to CT would be to prove me wrong and where I'd have to stay on them the rest of my life. He won't even prescribe me the 20mg without an in office appointment. If Alto suggests the go ahead then I will taper and count beads. I know she's a busy body, I just haven't heard from her today. There is the odd GP at my practice that are quite happy with me making suggestions and us deciding on a plan together, and others that clearly don’t like patients to have an opinion. Saying that, I won’t be sharing that I am tapering off my ADs and slowly at that. I can’t risk them being unsupportive as I need to be able to get my prescriptions for as long as I need them. Also is it safe to taper my Omeprazol and my AD at the same time? If all is well, you might reduce omeprazole by 1/4 per week. How do you intend to take vitamin B12? This is not medical advice. Methylcobalamin is best, but cyanocobalamin is usually cheaper. You can start taking B12 with a tiny chip of the tablet, dissolving it in your mouth. You gradually take bigger chips.
